Crows 2015

Talk on the national game

from the reports i read he was the loose man in defence most of the day.

would be interested to see him get a few games, but i would rather make sure he is absolutely ready to do that - even if it costs us a few games in the meantime.

Lever surely debuts now. Bad news for crows fans is that this will see Jenkins bag 5+ and book his spot in the side for another 3+ weeks..

tony modra agrees #6

but then theyll bring him in, he'll look too young n skinny, and then you'll you be screaming how crap he is, put him back in the ressies and bring back hartigan

lever looks to be the premier defender in 2 years time but he's a kid underweight, and crows want him in now to play on likes of the AFL's power forwards??

Sure gets a lot of talk about him for a bloke who hasn't played at AFL level yet.

Must do Hartigans confidence a world of good too!

Well that's the conundrum. Do you give Hartigan a shot at redemption against Lynch/Dixon, or is this the perfect time to give Lever a taste of AFL footy on the back of 2 really strong SANFL performances??

How many redemptions does he need!?

I thought he offered something on Saturday. A lot more than Jenkins offered.

Plenty! The bloke has played under 20 games, give him a chance to prove himself!!

Was an odd move by Walsh last weekend. Hartigan has one stinker and gets dropped while Cheney comes back after two weeks out with a hamstring to stand Schulz/Westhoff/Ryder. It didn't work, they kicked 10 between them.

So much for "team defence", the side gets it's arse handed to them on a plate and the full back gets dropped.....

To be fair hartigan was made to look pretty silly by stringer last week. Reckon he deserved to be dropped but I wouldn't be surprised if he came back in this week

Thats got more to do with stringers athleticism. He is a very strong lad with great balance and has a quicker first 5m than most 'tall forward' types that hartigan would play on. Cheney probably would have matched up better on stringer tbh...

Yeah stringer isn't really a traditional big forward, and you could tell he had a massive pace and agility advantage.

Stringer will be making blokes look silly for years.

is it bad coaching or just getting experience into a player and seeing how they handle the situation and try to turn it around?
