scoob will get run out again! Can you back method of dissmisal?
wcp Selector Matt Smith is looking after Matt Smith with the selection of the HS teams, he needs Hogan and Dodd to make some runs and what do you know they both get a run after doing nothing! Surprise Surprise.
scoob you have had a crack at Razzle and Gourlay for pulling out , fair enough too, the real reasons arent work and you are fully aware of that! They have been exposed! Good Luck to all teams.
Hows Far West didnt even know they were playing on Sunday till Tues night, good communication!

Hey Scoob, my info leads me to believe Toddy Coombes has been dropped for poor form. Yet Jewels and Hoges are in the side and MJ gets elevated to the ones??? If Jewels is playing surely he can keep and a specialist batsmen be selected? Skinny would have been more than happy to play two's and add some legitimate bowling to the side as well. I can't help but think the two sides have been very poorly picked and may cost us both finals. Please elaborate to this now well creditialled site what the F the thought processes were. And unavailability is no excuse for there being no more than 4 bowlers in the two's

Grassroots Team: Boston

Heard that Bostons had a mighty 6 at training last night of which only 3 are 'legitimate' senior players. On a brighter note they will have a Mail Medallist front up for them this year...can't remember his name but the nickname 'stonewall' springs to mind.
Also heard that the official opening of the Tasman FC clubrooms will be delayed indefinately. That big game in June looks like being transferred to Pecker Park. PLFL is unsure if any footy will be played there at all this year.
Goss also suggests that the roosters and the peckers may have to amalgamate in u/17 grade to make one team. Will be called the Mallee Park Turkeys.
Also heard that the PLFL may be investigating an alleged poaching incident involving 2 of the Ravendale tennants. Looks like the new kids on the block may have lost the rule book...again.

Got told Toddy was unavailable coz he is working... Also Jewels told the slectors he wasn't available coz its his birthday and he's going away camping/fishing this weekend,or something like that. he planned it ages ago. Maybe people should let their club captains know whether they will play, because it sounds as though the selectors weren't informed on the availability of some players.

Thank christ Ive done my time as capt/selector, more than happy to roll up and play without all the headf#@ks..

Hey Mav, like your sense of humor, been run out about twice in last 5 years and you've seen one of them and go on about it. if Grub is prepared to give us some odds Im sure it could be arranged again!! You will just have to let me know who you are so we can share the loot..

No worries scoob.
I walked the dog down at Pluricy Park last night and I have to tell you all this, I know its only early and everything will be better. But rr this is true.
Upon walking around both ovals I noticed the Discuss throwing circle (concrete) was complely underwater, all that is needed is some plants and goldfish and it would be a great drawcard.
During my walk I was stopped by a police vehicle to see if I had seen some youths of A--- Appearance breaking into a shed there?
And finally as the sun started to set - in came my mates from the wetlands, there must be something in my blood that they were interested in . The mozzies and wasps were shocking.
All in all I enjoyed the whole experience and cant wait to go to Ravendale again. I highly recomend it to anyone who wants to feel better about themselves and see how bad life can really get!
The loan repayments for the 700,000 borrowed is $5000 per week, can anyone tell me how Hockey and Tasmans can afford to make that sort of money, there isnt that much money to go round. We have another disaster happening!

guys, where the hell is lincoln footy going??

Bostons have got 6 players roll out for preseason and Tasmans have a complex which they can't afford. How long can the competition sustain 6 teams?? Bostons should have folded 10 years ago - the only purpose they serve is goal kicking practice for opposition teams.

Ok BHD we are aware that you are infact bluesthe boy.
Now we had 12 at training with 6 appoligies. Willow has indicated he will help out the club in true Tiger spirit if needed (probably will be). At least he makes people eearn their kicks, takes them on and leads by examples. After all they dont give away Mail Medals.
New kids on the block BHD, should be New Kids at the hockey pitch!
Maverick is that true? The Grants will runout for them one day! Whats not fair is our ratepayer money is meant to be spread out evenly not asll get put into Hockey and TFC. Thats what the Council have done. Are there any TFC people on the council?
Joe Burgoyne has moved back to Pl during the summer and is going to be announced as MP coach in the next week.

Had a bit of an idea for the PLCA in the hope of improving the square at centenary. I've got a coupla mates who work with Les Burdett that would be happy to come over here for a few days leading up to the cricket finals and spend some time with Wayne Fielder giving him a few pointers etc. in the hope of improving things for next season. They'd also give him a pack which each of the grade groundsmen get in Adelaide with a book and a few bits and pieces Les has written about preparing grounds for club cricket. As long as the PLCA paid for their airfares they'd be happy to come over.

What do you fellas think?

Who's we?...also my mail tells me that Hirchy will in fact be the Coach this year with Joey as AC. If so that would probably mean the end for RJ, as he and JH do not get along.

eags: great idea mate, probably one of the reasons you did so well in adelaide was because of the high quality pitches! would be good to have that replicated over here!

eppie: certainly is mate he is on the recruiting comittee. There was talk if no other lincoln players went up then he may consider quitting that position and returning to lincoln, however when his brother re-signed and every other lincoln player (except parker) re-signed then he decided to definetly stay!

Maverick ... Gourlay's not playing Hendo as he's in Sydney with work. Would've thought that given he played with a few of the EE boys in the EP side he would've been keen to play if he could.

So with Gourlay away this week that leaves him stranded on 20 wickets, 3 behind Rainbow who is now a certainty for PLCA leading wicket taker unless he gets none & I take 5 to pip him (which won't happen!!) Is anyone else up around the 20 wicket mark now?
