Emus very close to full strength at the start of the game
Lost Tim Howell and Bill Carroll early in the first 1/4.
Winies were just to good on the day. they have great depth {although we beat them in bs and cs} and will be very hard to beat.
They had winners all over the ground were disciplined, Dogga the master of milking free kicks.
They only used 3 points {3 more than us} but the wage bill would be reasonable.
They are very good in every grade.
and look very smart in there black pants and shiny shoes.
and I f###en hate em. :

Are you talking about Steve Wallace??
my mail has the following names linked only (i am not saying they have applied)
Steve Wallace
Ben Porter
Darren Spinks
Justin Calderbank
Adam Taylor (Current B grade coach)
Trevor Potts (highly unlikely)
Adam Jeffries
Or is there a name that is not on that list who might come back and show some brotherly love?
Would be good to see us move forward sometime soon and appointing new coach this week on the back of the big Marion win. Too many still looking for someone else to blame for the poor start to the season. Not ideal way to retain playing list.

Seems the saga may be over, the eerie silence out of Happy Valley may be a sign that the media black-ban has been reinstated down there. Sad, I was enjoying the input of Mister Footy & afc9798 etc over the last few years after what seemed like a non-existence of the HVFC on the internet.
No black ban mate just waiting for the new coach to be appointed. Reckon Maguire's phone would be running hot at the moment - has to coordinate timing of Carlton announcing Malthouse has quit/sacked before we announce he's our bloke.
In all seriousness just hoping they get it right this time
Perhaps instead of typing away in here and praying, you get involved in your club? OH thats right that wouldnt happen would it![]()

Anyway who needs mine and AFC's input when you have Vics and DTH have a crack at each other![]()

HERE’S WHAT THE CLUBS SAID:
TWO DIVISIONS OR ONE?
ALDINGA: would consider a proposal
BRIGHTON: would consider a proposal
CHRISTIES Beach: one
COVE: one
EDWARDSTOWN: would consider a proposal
FLAGSTAFF Hill: one
HACKHAM: one
HAPPY Valley: one
MARION: two
MORPHETT Vale: two
MORPHETTVILLE Park: one
NOARLUNGA: could not be reached for comment
O’SULLIVAN Beach-Lonsdale: two
PORT Noarlunga: could not be reached for comment
REYNELLA: two — but did question how it would work
Morphett Vale president Don Markwick said splitting the league would ensure closer contests and bigger crowds.
He said some supporters did not attend games against struggling clubs because they expected them to be one-sided.

Boof wrote:The 2 division debate has been going on for several years now lads and still no resolution. Falling revenue on game days due to non competitive games been played nearly every week will eventually force the hand of stronger clubs like Reynella & Brighton to seriously consider a move to amateur league!
Quality players want to play in a competitive competition, not 1 where they only get tested a few times a season. To many good players leaving the SFL because the competition is so poor and not just for $$$$$.
