Rooster Complacency

Postby pipers » Mon Jul 16, 2007 2:41 pm

It was suggested to me during last week by a NAFC supporting friend of mine that North were "having the bye" this week.

I think Jars might have told his players that they were "having the bye" too as they didn't bother to turn up.

I think Ladhams only showed up because he thought Jars said they would be "having some pies".

Speaking of Ladhams, I yelled out to him during the game

"Have another beer Ladhams"

He gave me the thumbs up. So looks like he would've happily gone to the bench to eat the pies and have a few beers instead of playing footy.

North will beat Sturt.

I'm not sure of your sense of humour fatal but it seems it takes a win for you Port people to come out of hiding?

As for Ladhams being fat and wanting a beer - what about his best mate Hargs hardly the slim figure he once was although stripes are far more slimming. Good to see our old mate finally had a game worthy of the $25K Port are paying him per year.
