yes the bloke ran 60m, we are giving him a bit cause we havn't seen him run that far in his life, and it was a stupid thing to do.
we have a young side and are only commited for saturday's, if you know what i mean, but things will change for next year with a few recruits putting pressure on the young blokes to train.

thanks again Cruzn9 keep the posts coming. :D

I thought that on the day that fat bloke (as you call him) was close to best on ground for eastern park and bar that incident looked like a decent player. From what i heard athelstone are looking at recruiting him to play key position along side duigan next year to replace clayton?? can you confirm Cruzn9

A bloke his size in div 3 should have some influence on the game. Just because I called him fat doesn’t mean the kid can’t play. He is a hard nut player & Im sure if Athelstone had the chance to sign him Im sure they would. I don’t think he would be recruited to replace whenan, but I would put money on it that whenan retires next year.
I can confirm this though – After the game a heap of the E/P players came inside the Raggies club for a drink but this bloke stayed longer as he is good mates with one of the raggies players.

& for the record i wouldn’t say he was close to best on ground as the Raggies forward line had a field day that day & I think number 2, 20 were clearly the best players for Eastern Park.
You would have lost by another 5 goals if number 2 wasn’t playing.

Cruzn9 i meant the E/Park player might have been recruiting for us..........maybe.
but if you throw a few names at us for recruits we could put you on the books.
with some inside info: E/Park should be a force next year, recruiting already with players giving us "in principle" commitment.
But in saying that its a long, long way of till next year...............14 weeks (pre season)
i'm glad i've retired. :)

I think Walkies have had a couple of tough games in a row. They impressed me earlier in the year- they seem to be a well drilled outfit but probably lack the match winners that Athelstone and SMOSH have.

One match winner they do have is Gould. Is he back playing again and if not how far is he away?

MAYBE SOMEONE CAN ANSWER’S THESE FOR ME
- WAS THAT WALKERVILLE’S STRONGEST SIDE ON SATURDAY
- I WAS TOLD C ROBERTSON IS NOT PLAYING ON NEXT YEAR
- HOW FAR AWAY IS GROSSMAN FROM PLAYING
-WHAT HAPPEN TO COFFEE ON THE WEEKEND
-WHAT HAPPEN LAST WEEK AGAINST SMOSH – RAGGIES WERE TERRIBLE IN THE LAST QTR

THAT WAS BY FAR THE BEST TEAM EFFORT ON SATURDAY BY THE RAGGIES & THEY STILL HAVE AFEW PLAYERS TO COME BACK INTO THAT SIDE.

SHEEDY,COFFEE, CHIGWIDDEN, GRIFFIN & BLAKE ARE PLAYING THEIR BEST FOOTBALL THIS YEAR.

I WONT MENTION NAMES BUT ATHELSTONE DO RELY ON KEY PLAYERS TO KICK START THEIR GAME

Danny walton reported again?

No. 21 for CBCOC got reported against us yet his name does not appear on the website?

Does this mean he doesn't have to go to the tribunal. If so thats quite ridiculous.

Raggies run over Walkerville quite convincingly?

Seems as though if you keep Smiddy to 3 goals or less, your a good show for a win. Pretty had task though, he's a damn good player.

I CAN HELP WITH THE LAST QUESTION IT WAS BECAUSE THEY WERE KICKING INTO A SIX GOAL WIND OK AND WERE VERY TIRED AND SMOSH WERE NOT AS TIRED AND KICKED LOTS OF GOALS WITH THE WIND.

If you put a bit of pressure on Smid's delivery he isnt overly dangerous. He knows where to lead and gets in the right spots but doesnt take too many contested marks or create something out of nothing very often.

Its either lace out or nothing for him in my opinion.

This is what i have heard or know about your 5 questions -
1) Apparently Walkerville had 1 player out to come back into their side & his not even a quality player – So a Walkerville bloke told me.
2) News travel’s fast, I heard that to – probably because his always injured, his had enough with the injuries.
3) Grossy is about 2 weeks away I recon.
4) Coffee is fine, came of in the first qtr with a saw thumb I recon.
5) Raggies had a roll on in the 3rd qtr against Smosh but lost concentration & allowed Smosh to kick acouple into the breeze in the last 5min & then smosh had the momentum to go on with it in the last qtr. I ended up going home that’s how bad the Raggies were.

Every club rely on their key players to get the game rolling in the first qtr.

Will you one day reveal yourself Swingman & tell us who you are cause you obviously go out to watch the Raggies each week.

what is this story about the eastern park and how did they go against smosh on the weekend. We have them in a few weeks so was there any standout players or blokes that you would need to keep a eye on

Number 2,20 & 22 & apparently their is this big CHF/CHB guy which Burglar rates highly.

Cut number 2 out & you will have a good chance in winning.....

What club do you play for "lovetotalkfooty"

Matty Paul is Eastern Park's best in my view by a long shot. I'm pretty sure he wears no. 22. If he has a quiet day, you will go a long way to knocking them off.

I think Ashby is one of the numbers that Cruzn9 referred to. He is super talented but an absolute liability in my books.

I think teams should target him, watch him lose the plot and hopefully bring a couple of his mates along with him...
