I get a message saying that they went to a playground and she slipped going up some steps and smashed her shin to the point that she's unable to take more than a few steps.
I am friggin spewing that she could potentially throw away a golden opportunity by being so dumb.
Harsh words mate - unless she was totally stuffing around.. I'm sure it's not like she deliberately set out to slip on some steps and hit her shin
Accidents happen
The fact that they decide to go to St. Kilda when it's been pissing down all night is silly enough, moreso given the importance of the final training session, she's an extremely smart kid that doesn't need much parenting.
She knows that she failed to make the right decision, she knows that it could've cost her a state jumper, she will be smarter for it.
And as I write the x-rays are clear of any fracture, just badly bruised.
My kids fall over mid air mate, they don't need to find ways to hurt themselves, I don't know where they get that from though
