She is back there now see how it goes.

I'm hungry ffs

Gotta teach her to look in the bag and do a quick stocktake before moving.

My 12 year old daughter had her final training session today for state cricket trial, she asked to sleep at a friends place last night and I reluctantly let her under a few provisions.
I get a message saying that they went to a playground and she slipped going up some steps and smashed her shin to the point that she's unable to take more than a few steps.
I am friggin spewing that she could potentially throw away a golden opportunity by being so dumb.

She's gone for x-rays today. I'm awaiting the results.

On a positive side, she made the final squad.

Harsh words mate - unless she was totally stuffing around.. I'm sure it's not like she deliberately set out to slip on some steps and hit her shin

Racist and hypocritical. She obviously forgot about the times she was arrested for stealing a flag and suspended from swimming for going against team orders.

The fact that they decide to go to St. Kilda when it's been pissing down all night is silly enough, moreso given the importance of the final training session, she's an extremely smart kid that doesn't need much parenting.
She knows that she failed to make the right decision, she knows that it could've cost her a state jumper, she will be smarter for it.

And as I write the x-rays are clear of any fracture, just badly bruised.

My kids fall over mid air mate, they don't need to find ways to hurt themselves, I don't know where they get that from though

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, she doesn't like Aussie's being dicks when they're representing her country.

That's fine, but when you yourself have been dick when representing your country you should probably just keep your opinion to yourself.

She took a flag for a laugh and wore an unofficial swimsuit, she wasn't carrying on like a dick and throwing tennis racquets around, I'm quite embarrassed by his behaviour.

I dont get this mentality at all. He wasnt representing australia he was representing himself. We can choose to support him or not.

He was clearly acting like a bit of a dick, but if he won nobody would be batting an eyelid. Massive tall poppy situation going on here imo.

When you are funded by Tennis Australia and the Australian tax payers id say you are representing Australia. I dont mind the bloke but that 2nd set tanking was disgraceful

Well then it isn't "tall poppy" then, is it? It's just people commenting on a wanker.

being an australian and representing australia in a sporting contest are two different things.

Does Andrew Bogut represent australia in the NBA? Im sure he was a product of the AIS just like a lot of other sportspeople.
