Righto, possibly the bet of the century- Schumacher is $3.50 ... that won't last. Ferrari have been testing since the champagne popped on the final race of last season (much to the other team's annoyance), tyre changes are ALLOWED again (this was a huge disadvantage to Ferrari last year, hence their annus horribilis)- this is gonna be a huge help to them. You watch Schumacher tighten with each win. Get on Ferrari, if you can for the Constructors... by the way. the book closes on 28/2/06, GET ON! *Odds from Centre Bet

Punk Rooster - you're a very brave person even contempating a bet on motor racing!! I wouldnt' even consider it personally, with the myriad of potential difficulties there (blown tyre, blown motor, accidents, fixing of races...oops, did I say that last one out loud?)

You'd be brave taking Schuey at $3.50. While I think Ferrari will be better than they were last year, I cant see them being as quick as the Renaults and McLarens. Granted, the tyres were their main problem last year, but I still think they will be the third best team, and thats if Massa can keep the car on the track.

Schumacher is the greatest driver of all time (number of victories), & you should never write a champion off. Ferrari, unfortunately, were locked in with the wrong tyre manufacturer last year, for the rules they had to race with. As I stated, the change back to allowing tyre changes makes tyre choice (manufacturer) irrelavent (to a point). Ferrari are a very professional outfit, & will be back with a vengeance. Are there people out there willing to risk Schumacher/Ferrari, & offer me better odds? :o

I haven't gone quiet, just haven't been near a computer today. While I agree the tyre changing will benefit Ferrari more than anyone, I still dont think they will have the speed to consistantly be at the pointy end of the field. Schumacher is the greatest the sport has ever seen, but I think the car will let him down. I think people will see just how important Barrichello was to the team, I dont think Massa will be able to develop the car as much as Rubins did. Im not one to give odds though......

Go the Renaults.

PAFC1870, I'm tipping that if you gave me 5's, you'd look like your avatar.... :P

If you got Schuey at $3.50 at the start of the year, you'd be pretty happy now. Still think Alonso will be able to do enough to hold on in the last few races.
