They had to offer up something decent to move there. Would much rather us be at the MCG and I think that will happen within the next 2-3 years. The club has never been in a bad financial state, too much money locked away in vaults

Wasn't having a go, and yes you should play home games at the G with your supporter base.
I do know though that if North were on the same stadium deal as Essendon, we would've been debt free a few years ago.

By the way, it's worth noting Carlton have appeared in four of the past seven finals' series.
Not sure how one season entitles them to a priority pick.

2011 Carlton lost the semi-final to West Coast by 3 points. The following year they went 11-11 and sacked Ratten for Malthouse.

They deserve everything they get, except a priority pick.

Don't actually expect one. It's just in case the AFL try to give one to Brisbane

Don't think the AFL needs to put a lot of effort into promoting Footy in Victoria. The Suns are irrelevant and the Lions have become Bears again. QLd Football is in trouble.

There is absolutely no doubt if Carlton get pick 1 and 2 (for Kruezer) that they will then hand the Lions a priority pick. Whatever happens the Lions will have one of the first 2 picks.

Collingwood withdrew from the Kruezer chase.

And they have apparently just re-signed Scharenberg.

COLLINGWOOD has delisted six Magpies including Clinton Young, Sam Dwyer, Tony Armstrong and rookie Michael Manteit. Lachie Keeffe and Josh Thomas, who accepted two-year suspensions last month for taking the banned substance clenbuterol, were also officially taken off the Magpies list.

surely he wont be delisted. he definitely hasnt lived up to billing as the number 1 draft pick, but he is definitely an AFL standard footballer imo.

They wont get much for him, but I reckon he could thrive in a new environment

Sydney appear certain to win a running battle with the AFL to be allowed to compete during next month’s player-exchange period on a level close to equal footing with all other clubs.

He'd be a fairly attractive proposition for a few clubs. If he's been delisted he would come pretty cheap, pick him up in the PSD and pay him next to nothing with match payments on top. I think given a shake up and moving clubs could be just what he needs. I think he's taken a step forward this year and is becoming a serviceable player.

He's had to play for Melbourne for his whole career so far which would equate to trying to run with a ball and chain.
