Just because they didn't get it right, doesn't mean they stuffed up - it just means conditions changed. Weather does that.

Best tip, open windows, doors etc as much as possible when using evap in humid conditions.

The higher the air speed in the occupied zone the better. If you keep doors and windows closed and "pressurize" the house you limit the air speed and increase moisture content. Open up, fan up high.
