Pligl didn't play much in the 2nd half of the season last year, but yes is definitely a big loss if he has decided to move on.. and if he was we wish him all the best - he's a premiership winning player, a best & fairest winner and A grade captain - he has served us well.
Having said that, I think there is a lot of talent that was in the B grade last season that can push up and be strong A grade players and help fill voids left behind... and we are still working on a couple of solid inside mids who would be ideal replacements for Pligl.
However a lot of water to go under the bridge before the season, and a lot of work required to get everyone on the same page, gelling and playing like a team and we will still be a long way off the top sides - a couple of players doesn't make a team..
