What will happen to the top up players if the injunction gets through.

I'm not sure, but it won't happen.

99% sure there would be a clause in their contract that if there is a change in the status of the banned players (appeal successful/suspensions over-turned) this contract would be voided

In other words thanks for your time but we don't need you anymore....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Overturning the ban might not get through but an injuction until their appeal is heard might.

Big risk though for the players. Given most are suspended until November, I wouldn't have thought that they would risk it running further into their pre-season.

He is currently doing some paid ruck coaching at Essendon and has kept his fitness at a pretty decent level. There was talk Port were also chasing him

Would have there even been an offer from Port, given we are yet to obtain clearance from the AFL for top up's?

Ah ok. I thought it was general chit chat, not a genuine offer.

Plus the fact he is getting paid to coach the rucks at Essendon and will still do this whilst playing. We won't be seeing McKernan in the ruck this year hopefully

I've got a couple of versions, personally I'd rather pump a heap of games into the new draftees

Well you have Leuy and Jamar both known for there injuries unfortunately. I woulf say if Leuy can hold the ruck on his own you will be better for it. If Mckernan is your go to man then it will get ugly eveb more so.
