You're obviously not married, never been married, never had good mates.

Goes to show the true character of friendship and mate ship ....

Obviously Gary could not give a s$&t about that except feed his own ego.

It'd be a rare male character who wouldn't be aggrieved at the sight of a close mate coupling up with an ex.

Am I right in saying that Lyon was still married whilst knocking boots with Brownless's ex-wife? That's the impression I got from the reports I've read.

im not endorsing mr lyon i mean what an evil prick :D

however just highlighting that behind the devastation of broken mateship, these are 2 likely single people {lyon & woman} and also theres another person who equally played a role in the mutual seduction being the woman. who could of chose not to enter such relations but she would say herself she had full rights to do whatever she likes

if wayne carey tapped mr stevens partner after a separation would it have been so controversial?

in my lifetime ive seen it happen multiple times where the close mate wants his turn on the newly available female :?

Perhaps it's time to not share your thoughts on this any more. Your views are clear, I'm not sure many others would relate to them.

i understand your sensitivity as to who your wife may sleep next with if you were to ever break up

but the couple are no longer together, billy has zero rights or choosing preference as to who she does bang next. if billys brother wants to have a dip he has full rights, if billys mate wants to have a crack, she is completely available to take such attention

it happens on home & away all the time :)

gary losing his job because he wanted to try that cake in the window is ridiculous. he is as free to do as the next man. its billy that has to harden up and get over it and if he wants to whinge and sook then he should be leaving the footy show not gary

not that its been mentioned though, isnt gary lyon married?

Wow.

I'm glad I'm not your mate or even played any sport with you Jesus.

There's some things you just don't do, And your best mates ex is certainly high on that list.

IF this has all played out as reported then she certainly deserves some scrutiny, plenty of it, but as shes not a public figure that will come un-reported from friends and family. Knocking off your best mates ex. unless they carry on to amount to something, then you just can't justify it.

Especially when your wife and your mates ex-wife are supposedly best friends and the two families used to go on holidays together when the kids were growing up too.

Cop out and PR stunt to make people have sympathy and give him privacy.

You don't "come down with depression" after something like this, you feel guilty because you got caught doing something you shouldn't have been doing. Pretty gutless from his PR staff.

I couldn't give a shit who he is shagging but don't things harder for the people who have real depression and mental health issues to deal with.

The stigma is tough enough as it is

I was going to ask whether he became depressed as a consequence of his socialising with BIlly's ex, or whether it was pre-existing (although clinical depression is a serious disease that deserves attention and treatment, irrespective of when or how you get it).

Maybe Sam Newman is to blame for Garry's depression. Showing the broken leg and all those fat kid dancing footage on the footy show all the time
