Saturday night at the Grand for the 17th Wedding anniversary.

The Grand, meh, take it or leave it as far as the accommodation goes, especially for what you pay.

Pantai Thai in the Glenelg Pier Hotel, dinner Saturday night - Pretty good, see review in restaurant thread.

The Moseley, lunch Saturday ( as above )

The Grand Buffet breakfast, Sunday ( as above )

Nice relaxing night, swim in the pool Saturday arvo and Sunday morning, Mrs Boon was even ok with an hour in the Jetty Bar watching a couple of races Saturday afternoon ( she's a keeper ) and stroll along the foreshore / Jetty Road Saturday night. A couple of drinks either side of dinner, in the Grand Bar before dinner and then in Horizons Cocktail Lounge after dinner. Funny spot that one, nice big Chesterfield leather lounges, plush carpet and curtains, two guys playing guitars and singing and then people in short and thongs sipping on cocktails. Odd, nice, but odd.

Oh, a kudos to the young couple at around 9:30 Saturday night sneaking a quick one in behind the bins next to the Beach House. Quality.

After 17 years of marriage, Booney, you don't really count as a young couple anymore, bud.

Junior Boon seeing some light at the end of the long, sometimes fruitless employment tunnel.

Been in and out of part time work for about 12 months, has finally been given an opportunity with some full time work.

Daddy is going to sleep better at night now!

Three day boat trip from Lock 9 back to Renmark.

A few beers to be drunk this weekend.

10 boats, 20 blokes and not a women or phone in sight.

Organised a ticket to the College Football game between Cal & Hawaii in Sydney in August.

Heaps of Spartans are going as a group. Should be really good. I've never been to a big sports event like this.

A day after probably her biggest fan passed away on the cricket field in the PDCA on Saturday, my daughter scored her first district B Grade half century a couple of weeks after her 13th birthday.
We talked about the unfortunate passing on the way the way to cricket yesterday and she said she would try and dig deep in his honour, I shed a tear when she got to raise her bat for her first 50 in her short career.

I think I speak for us all when I say pat her on the back, tell her there's a heap of people you know from this site who congratulate her and that "Harry" would be chuffed to bits to know all her hard work is paying off.

Tragic and brilliant all at once.

She has made a fair amount of achievements, most of the time I'll put up a picture on FB in her first state game, or district match outfit, Harry would always throw plenty of encouragement her way and was extremely proud of the fact that she played for Craigmore.

I will miss his vibrant comments.
