not much bigger than a lap dog either...not a bad horse who won a few races...the mother Lap it Up went pretty well. Won a couple in town but had an annoying habit of running second.

Apologies to all on behalf of the A-Grade Lincoln Henderson Shield side. It's fair to say that we just went through the motions in the field on Sunday, lacking any intensity or passion, failing to finish off & letting them knock up 150, thinking it would all fall in our laps. Batting was no better, cruising at 4/105 after 22 overs, then a combination of good bowling, but more so too many of us in a rush. Very dissapointing way to go out after 2 good wins. Full credit to them & the way the team was led by Carl Jaenschke, showing the sort of desire that we sadly lacked. Let's not let comments about the pitch or umpiring overshadow the fact that we were disgraceful.

Or we could have the embarrassment of playing the GF on hard wicket because the curator dishes up another disgraceful deck.

Odysseus would be a good chance I would have thought! How short would have Kane Smytzer been in that field? OL & btb, Tim Axon has couple of tough choices in other races, which ride would you take? Lady force, Go august or MA ahba. Shanicity for the cup at long odds, will go to lead I've been told!

Lock Cup winner and Ceduna Cup winner are chances.
Kane Smytzer $1.80 in that field!

Odds on Sandview for the cup:
- $2 she gets in the barriers, plays up and is scratched
- $2.50 she makes it to the barriers but doesn't go in
- $3.50 she won't make it to the barriers
- $8.50 she trots to the barrier under light hold, first to load, stands perfectly and wins the kick but doesn't win
- $15 she wins!
What do you reckon fellas about right?

Don't get me wrong Scoob, totally agree our umpire Sunday had a very, very bad day & has no comprehension of the lbw rule, not only the shocker you copped, but in general the ones he hasn't given during the year for all teams.
How special was the one Dope Ramsey turned down to fine leg off the middle & got called leg byes!!
Eags, fair enough to call pitch a disgrace had it played badly, but overall, don't think it did anything out of the ordinary, bounce & carry seemed to be pretty consistent for both sides.
Agree however that curator is inept & seems to be beyond reach of any sort of accountability. I don't doubt that he spends countless hours of his own time down there, but what we were all looking at Sunday morning was laughable to say the least.
The PLCA are very quick to send out fines in mail for missed meetings, late scorecards etc, what about cutting curator's payment for sub-standard wickets?
If lucky enough to make GF, we will be refusing the services of Sunday's umpire if he is appointed.

Congratulations Eastern Eyre for winning the Henderson Sheild. Its great to see neighbouring country teams play association SPORTS with their passion, pride and more importantly DIGNITY!
To all the sore losers from PLCA(on this site) perhaps instead of laying blame on several mentioned quotations,DONT forget there were two teams playing and by far Eastern Eyre have once again shown the lack of team spirit, passion, pride and last but not least our lack of graciousness in defeat.

ps Scooby,eags get over it.

To be honest.Dont blame craig Reidy for leaving for baseball, with all the shit he received during the week.It was clear to him that he obviously wanted to be part of team mates in baseball.I hope to god he smacks the hell out of SES mediocre bowling attack and rips threw their hapless batting order!
