Just as players represent the club in the media, so does he. He should have known those comments were going to cause a stir - discretion should have been applied.
It's not the first time where his desire to be one of the boys has hurt the club.
Whether I agree with his comments or not, he has to be aware of the environment that we all work in and what topics/comments are going to cause issues for himself and the club.
This is where his multiple roles get confusing and have done for some time.
Eddie wears too many hats....For mine he uses all of these hats as opportunities, in general, to further to cause of the Collingwood FC. As president he is doing the right thing by his club in doing that. Then he goes and ***** it all up by being a smart ar$e..... that's how I see his comments, not as bullying per se.
