globe derby sat & mon 4th & 6th

Postby bayman » Sat Aug 04, 2007 1:34 am

gdp sat,

r1 chances 5,6,7,8,9 in an open race
r2 9 on top from 3,7,8
r3 10 should win but i'd want black figures to back it, for multis 1,2,3,7
r4 3,7,8 next best 2
r5 open race 2,3,4,8,9
r6 11 a good thing from 1,2,5,9,10
r7 3 an absolute moral from 2,5,6,8,9
r8 7 should win from 1,2,6
r9 2,3,5,7
r10 7,9,10 with 5 next best in a shocking race

suggested bet(s)
r3 no 10 win (want evens though)
r6 no 11 win
r7 no 3 win
r8 no 7 win

gdp monday,
r1 4 on top from 1,2,3,7 in an open race
r2 2,3,8 next best 6,7
r3 5 on top from 2,6,7,9,10
r4 5 a good thing from 6 then 3,4,8
r5 1,3 on top with multi hopes to 5,7
r6 1 on top e/w from 5,7,8
r7 1 on top from 4,5,6,9
r8 2,3,4,5,9 well the 4 will lead but which one will turn up ?

suggested bet(s)
r4 no 5 win

good luck on the punt
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

COMMENTS [PAPER ODDS]
R2
[9] King of the claimers THE JUGGERmalNAUT[$1-90] looks the winner but odds on ?
[8] LOMBO REDBACK [$4-50] appeals each way in the race

R3
[10] LARACHELLE[$1-30] baymanbogeybarrier 10 over 1800m and long odds on , too short for me
need at least $1-70 or as Bayman said $2-00 to think about backing it

R4
[3] URAJOKIN [$2-20] once again an on top pick but too short to back
driver change with leading junior driver Tony Calabria on board
with TB on board it can stay in this class and gets a front row draw [is that right ?]
The LAWman said on the radio today it made more runs than Greg Chappell last week
[7] LITTLE DREAMER[$3-80] is better value

R6
[11] WELL THATS LIFE [$1-90] appeared FLATTENED  from a worKout prior to last weeks
disappointing 3rd, looks the winner , odds about right

R7
[3] how did that song go again "" IS THIS THE WAY TO AMIRILLO i been weeping like a willow""
this is the horse that had DUTCHY singing last monday when he left it out of his treble :(
Looks a great bet tonight ADVERTISER ODDS = *.70 whatever that means !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[3] AMIRILLO BLUE a good thing

R8
[7] MOVED IN SLIENCE[$1-70] brilliant winner last week, looks very very hard to beat
[2] LADY SMALL TIME [$5-00] top run in the classic last week a definite danger

r9
[3] NUTHA LIGNUM [$2-20] looks winner but no value if starts odds on

R10 just back the field to win anything can win

LATE MAL
---------

R2-8 PLACE
R7-3 WIN
R8-7 WIN

ROYAL RACHEL
-------------

Having 3rd run in 7 days, I wonder if we any more controversies this week

LATE MAL

R2-3 ROVERS RETURN {$4-20]
In a mobile and afforded a front line draw
Smith only has to go to sleep on it early and sprint late to be in the finish
Reliable trotter, always does its best
PLACE CERT [good EW bet as well]

R4-4/5 QUINELLA
[5] THEO BROMAC NITRO the most consistent nag in the state will be there
[6] BUBALO if driven correctly will be there as well, let BBN do the work, and sprint
If leading trots bookie Peter Dammerell bets nearly each way odds other horse charrrrrrrrge!
QUINELLA

R5-3 ELYSSES CREST [$1-80]
The silver fox Ray Fewings holds the key to this race
[1] THE SOUNDS driven by Fewings[not Jake webSTAR who is at school today]
is not a genuine 2230m horse and MUST hand up to ELYSSES CREST
If the drivers drive PROPERLY than EC is a good thing
WIN .....if only the $1-80 was the real odds then would be real estate odds.

Good luck
