AFL+SANFL RD 19 DISCUSSION

Postby mal » Sun Aug 05, 2007 8:40 pm

These are MAL odds only, for discussion purposes
Last week i was as right as wrong with my odds, try better this week

RI $4-50
CO$1-18

HW $1-60
BL $2-20

PP $1-10
CA $7-00

ML $3-20
WB $1-33

SS $1-22
SK $3-90

KA $2-35
WC $1-58

GE $1-14
AC $5-00

FR $1-20
ES $4-00

Im sure the odds submitted for the SS V SK game will raise some eyebrows
I think SS will smash SK in the 2nd half
SK after several games in a row at the DOOOOOOOM will be rooted

First to 25 points
I am considering
RI V CO
AC V GE
Both will be about $4-00
And there is a chance of a breezy day at Kat park
CA V PP is another game to consider[breeze factor at AAMI]

ST
EG

NA
CD [another gift I hope]

GL
PA

SA
WA

The SA V WA game could not have come up at a more opportune time for these 2 teams
ONE OF THEM WILL WIN THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DRAW

the last time these 2 played at richmond, it was around $1.85 both teams, i jumped on westies that day as they had better form coming into to the game but they got smashed by 10 goals.

Westies look the better team leading into this weeks game, but I need to see a market to see what Ill invest on.....

As you directed for all of us to fire up on PP last week ?
History shows that on friday nights at the G that Richmond fire up for the CO games
Keep taking $1-18 in the AFL and you will go broke Sir Rooster
If it rains then RI will be half a chance to upset the pies.
RI are safe in bottom spot and can try for the rest of the year + still get the draft picks
RI will also be a consideration for the first to 25 points, but will wait for the weather reports.

The thing that would stop me backing RI over the 4 quarters is
BETTING ON BAD TEAMS = BAD RESULTS

Hows your wallett after the Noarlunga game last round......

Yes Mal, I just put my life savings on Collingwood...
I think Collingwood will win, but do not take short odds like that- the shortest I can recall taking is $1.47- CD v PA

If I post my selections before the game, you should at least have the decency to say something before the game too, not after. How easy to criticize after the event....

I guess I should fill 2 pages of posts, telling everyone in here what a genius I am for backing Hawthorn...

No worries Punky
Confession time
I backed my first loser in the SANFL after 9 winners in a row
I had $15 on SA to beat PA :butthead:  :butthead:
Kinda takes the gloss of the CD gift I got

Remember MALMAXIM

BAD TEAM = BAD BET= BAD RESULTS

I broke that rule to back the panthers and paid the penalty

PS punk have a look at Best Jokes .....

Carlton at the points in this week will be a good bet, playing a much better style of play with ratten, and there new found pressure might surprise the power. How many points in will the blues get??
