As we went in we checked some jackets in, the young lass asked for names, one of our chaps hands his jacket over and says "Roland". She says "That's an interesting name?", he says "Yeah, it is. It's Roland, Roland Garros". She had no clue.

Great stuff. I wonder if she would've twigged if your mate said his name was "Napoleon", or another famous French identity like Touche Turtle or Rene from "Allo Allo".

The GF and I do that whenever we order something anywhere, the hardest part is paying attention and remembering what we done when we get called out.

Krispy Kreme coffee's get a fair workout of stupidity, Bonnie and Clyde is often used too. The youth of today have no idea.

Young blokes wearing tight hipster jeans, rolled up from the cuff about 6 inches. Importantly worn with boat shoes and no socks... WTF is that all about?

It's all the rage these days mate! They're disgusting, I shake my head in shame at the blokes in my generation who wear them.

An episode of "Bastard", which is like the old "Mastermind" quiz show, but funnier. ;)

Ouch!

To be fair, it was described as a stack-a-ball stool.

Pick up My daughter from daycare this arvo and she shows me a painting she did of me. She told me all the colours she used and than she apologised because she couldn't do my hair. The reason was that they didn't have any white paint.. Cheers mate

At the movies on Sunday arvo, half the back row was filled with the oldies 70+
The ad came on about avoiding the emergency department if you have the sniffles etc

One of the old ducks perked up to say she doesn't like the woman doing the ad!!!!

But they never muttered a word when you can book in a tour of centennial park or the funeral homes ad

Tex Walker making some sort of negative comment about someone to his Mrs (I assume) who then has a slight crack back at him.

Playing a trivia board game * with the kids. I read out this question to them: "What is the name of the head of the Mafia"?

"What's the Mafia?", replies the daughter.

I pause, and think ... "It's a crime organisation which comes from Italy. Italian criminals."

And she promptly screamed, "oh, it's the Pope!"

* - The game is called "Beat the Parents". Aptly named because it is heavily loaded in favour of the children. They won again - we've yet to beat them.
