Apparently a 3 way deal to get Hanley to the Suns involving Port.
Hanley to Suns
Port's 2017 1st round pick to Brisbane
Port get two 2nd round picks from the Suns

Can't see that happening seeing we own them a 2nd rounder as it is.

Means we'd swap next years 1st rounder for this years second rounder?

Suns have picks 22, 24, 26 and 30 in the 2nd round at the moment. Pick 30 came from Port with the Dixon deal, pick 26 was also in that deal but that came from Richmond. You could get pick 30 back if this deal is correct, I don't think there's a rule that you cant trade a future pick back to the club you got it from.

Apparently Xavier Richards has asked for a trade

So with Mcglynn and T.Richards retiring, Mitchell gone and now X.richards gone should free up some space

Nah, tippo has taken a pay cut

So he should... If he was paid for his Grand Final performance he'd be taking a massive cut!

Do you mean being in career best form for the last season and half until he got injured late this season? And prior to that injury was probably one of the best rucks in the comp

Sounds like the Suns are sick of waiting for the Hawks and have facilitated a 3 way trade with Brisbane and Port.
Suns to get Hanley and AhChee, Brisbane to get Ports 2017 1st rounder and Port to get two second rounders for this year off the Suns

Would be a big call by Port on where they expect to be next year. I can see them ending up with a top 5 pick given some of the improvements by clubs around them. If they think they'll push for finals and it ends up being pick 10 or so, probably ends up a good choice.

I'll be outside Chris Davies office with a pitchfork if we trade next years first rounder.
