The Tigers thanked Gold Coast and Prestia's manager, Marty Pask, for getting the deal done.
"We identified Dion earlier this year as a player that we wanted at our football club, he’s a power runner, highly competitive and impacts games significantly," Richardson said.
"Dion’s management made it clear to us that he was keen to return to Victoria to be closer to his family, and we’re really pleased for our Club that he chose Richmond as his preferred destination.
"At 24 years of age, Dion has many years of good football ahead of him, he’s also a person of great character, and being vice-captain at the Gold Coast Suns, he has great leadership qualities also."

Yep. About pick 15 at the end of the day. And Gibbs will be pick 13 and maybe an add on. Just goes to show you that its pointless comparing deals from trade to trade let alone year to year.

Yep, had to request special permission from the AFL to get the trade done as they now have traded their first out 3 years in a row. They now have to somehow get 2 first round picks at the next draft or face sanctions
