JACK OATEY
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Sudjai Cook?

David Yoemans?

Heaps of people have left Norwood.

We could continue this all night.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

David Yeomans still at Norwood I thought. Runner for ressies??
Sudjai was told by Peter Rhode that he will not get a league game at Norwood due to lack of condition during a pre-season. Could not even beat the coach in a time-trial run.

All the people mentioned above could not make the league side....except Craig of course.
I think Craig leaving was as hurtfull to us as when Bruce Winter left Sturt and came to Norwood so I guess it evens out on that score. Remember seeing Neil Craig in a powder blue uniform for the first time and I felt physically ill !

I think Neil Craig went with Robert Oatey out of loyalty and friendship after that fall out at Norwood, I'm not sure with whom Bruce Winter fell out to move the other way.

Just want to confirm that there is no truth in the rumour that Stuart Bown is talking to any other football clubs.

How would the club know any way if he was (unless it was actually Bown who posted it on this site). Hes hardly going to go around admitting chatting to other clubs i wouldn't have thought.

OK, will take that on face value, but someone who was tagged heavily against South and West and who rates himself as the second best CHF in the comp is talking to somone...

If the club is moved to post a denial, then what more can be asked? Norwood hardly has a track record of responding to rumours whether to confirm or to dispel them. In this case it is the Football Operations Manager who has responded and responded with a denial. If Bownie himself issued a public statement, would that change anything more? Hardly.

What the club is on the record as saying though is that personnel changes can be expected in 2008. What that means from a club or a players perspective will transpire with the effluxion of time.
