Any one would think they were playing the top team Pt District looking at that pantsing

Mate I'd say Scotch are travelling better than the top team, beat Disricts a couple of weeks ago and won 7 of their last 8. The result really isn't a surprise is it?
Besides it's August, Districts only kick those quantity of goals in May & June. Kilburn will recover.
Who can remember what year and after what circumstance the KFC started it's decline, care to chip in on this one Hafey.

If I rememeber correctly the KFC won the premiership around 03and then after that Ryan Harvey went to Seaton, the other Harvey retired as did Danny Ryan and a couple of others whose names escape me.

It was 2003, The Knights lost coach Delaney at the start of the season after losing 8 Premiership with retirement. Local Legend Paul Dorian "Robo" got the nod ahead of some high quality applicants, but it turned out to be a dissapointing year for the Knights to see them drop to Div 2. Gary Peach toyed with Knights for 2 years after that with mixed results but didnt have the cattle, Ryan stepped up for the last 2 years.

Correct Start, I understand Roger knew of the possibility for a transfer to Sydney as early as August 03 and whilst you wouldn't begrudge anyone from making the most of an opportunity such as the one he had with Austereo he chose not to tell the Knights of what may happen in fact accepted the coaching job for 04.

Not exactly sure about this reasoning- more the fact that Harvey, Hawkins, Ellis etc who had hung around through the Robo year were told they would be looked after and then the club stuffed them round. As I have said before the club has only itself to blame for its current predicament!

actually i think u will find it was not the club that stuffed a few of the boys around, but the then coach Gary Peach.
The club had to stick by the decisions that he did, but let me tell you the club did not want to loose all those lads.
he was suppose to be the saviour and get them back in A1, but instead they find them selves in A3.
whilst gary is a good bloke, he is a PHOS man thru and thru !!
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

i think gary did really well with the limited cattle he had while there.. gary ellis had already left be4 gary was appointed coach, ryan STATED he didnt want to play div 2 footy hence why he left Maughan Thiem were he worked as he got employment through a club sponsor.

i would say that alot of ppl would agree that the current chairman would have alot of explaining on why a once successful div 1 club is now heading towards div3..

Still kicking enough goals to have us on top of the ladder s***t for brains .
Kilburn have always been destined for disaster because of its poor culture , young players dont want to go there and play with misfits and criminals that work in and around the club . Even a injection of s***t loads of money isnt going to be enough to entice players to that club , but thats what happens when families interbreed .
You'd know all about interbreeding, I hear it would be safer for you social misfits to call everyone Dad just to cover all bases. Hafey you're criticising Kilburn and Port Districts is your club. You're kidding youself Hafey and your ignorance is as contemptable as your club.
