Aust v India Women game 3 Woodville Ov.

Postby MightyEagles » Wed Mar 01, 2006 9:37 am

Yesterday I went and watched a little of the Australia v India Woman's match held at Woodville Oval. It was held in front of a small crowd of about 150 or so. Even saw Johnny Haseman (you know the one dresses up silly). India made 7-128 in 50 Overs. Rolton bowled 6ov-3m-6r-2w and 1 run out and the other wickets shared around. And Australia made the runs in 34.2 overs. Blackwell 63no and Rolton 56no. Purves out lbw for 3, I thought the ball hit the bat myself, but I was side on, so it was a bit hard to tell.

We do have a woman's football team that plays at Woodville as well. Other Women that play at Woodville all play for the other 8 football clubs.
