I just worry how long the SFL can hold on for to be honest. Once a good competition. Even Brighton and Morphies are only divvvy 3 and 4 by the ammos standard. Flaggies, Morphett Vale and Noarlunga would be divvy 2 at their very best. Probably 2 of 3 being divvy 3 ammmos standard.

They would knock over anyone in Div 4 by at least 7-8 goals on any day.
That's what people think. Reality is that there are no easy games in the SAAFL because of the relegation system. Maybe one bad side per grade.
In the SFL a side only has to be ready to play every 4 weeks because of so many ordinary sides. Maybe 10 sides who are no good out of 16.
Another thing is that when clubs get injuries in the SFL they can rest players for 3 or 4 weeks to get them right for the next tough game
In the ammos they won't get that luxury of being able to bring players back when they feel like it.
The overall depth of each club is tested and an A grade side needs an extra 10 players of A grade standard to get through a season.
That's the big difference between the two leagues and people never look at those aspects. Brighton will struggle to make the finals in divvy 3

No one is questioning whether they're a good club or a well run club or the quality of the people at the club
What we can safely say is that the standard of the SFL is diabolical after the first 3/4 clubs and those 3 or 4 clubs who are reasonable would be no higher than mid divvy 2 or divvy 3 of the ammos. There wouldn't be 2 many people who'd think the standard of the SFL is very high at all

Interesting state of affairs if this is correct. No longer aligned with the club and I've asked some who are still there what is happening, I'm unsure if they even know the story.
I do know players who have played A grade for the club, who left on good terms and aren't even playing anywhere at the moment haven't even received as much as a phone call to come back and play, yet they (allegedly) go and buy B graders. Zero logic in that decision.

Think you will find the "incentives" have a clause regarding training attendance, i.e % of $$ off if you don't attend. Hopefully the recruits have a good training standard!!!

mate our A's and B's are nothing to worry about ... 60lads on the first night tonight with apparently around 10-15 apologies... The main thing we need to work on is try to feed through some more numbers through our junior ranks which hasn't been great in the last couple of seasons

As far as I know only 1 player from the premiership team not going on again, and that's from retirement.
