Perhaps we can enter the womens comp. The crowds are pretty good there
Would get similar crowds for the SANFL if the AFL underwrit it and offered free entry

AFL will always be the bigger league getting the majority of the media.

Done
Puss the AFL out of our league. Delay the start of SANFL season, drop ticket prices, bring back double headers. SANFL GF back to being played after AFL Gf. On the AFL bye week before finals schedule a full round of SANFL telecast on 7 including a Friday night game. Any financial threats to our league from over the border ie to our junior funding is to be reimbursed from revenue via Adelaide Oval ie crows/port reimburse us. SANFL Stops paying Adelaide city council to close down King William St on AFL game day and pass the bill onto the AFL clubs. Money saved goes into marketing SANFL.
Not hard.
Hopefully the message of don't bite the hand that feeds you will be understood eventually

A good start would be if some of these SANFL clubs get their finances in order ( we know who these clubs are MW, don`t we ) then the SANFL might have a bit more bite when it comes to push and shove with the 2 almighty AFL clubs.

Mind you, it's no guarantee of any resistance. We both know the rivers of cash at Prospect have seen nothing in terms of any substantial push-back against the AFL clubs. For some perplexing reason, despite being financially comfortable, we've done the opposite.

Remember we were originally told the reason for the 2 afl teams joining the SANFL was to save certain SANFL clubs from folding due to their $$$ problems. I do remember Bohden saying that if we were only worried about North then we would have voted NO.
God bless Bohden:)
