You insipid loser go away and have a look at yourself in the mirror then try not to top yourself when reality sets in.

Come on Fly, thats a well witted comment. Pay credit wheres it's due!

Maybe, Reynella should look to their resevres rather that $2000 for Butcher, that team was well drilled and went about it well! I heard a few Reynella blokes watching the A's yesterday that said the team didn't get a long and didn't play for each other like a team should! Not real good coming from within the club!

was there any reason the league used 3 umpires on Sunday? I would understand if it improved the level of umpiring but all it seemed to do was create a wider variety of bad decisions and cost an extra umpiring wage!

Over the last few weeks our club has had to supply an boundary ump, goal ump for A Grade games, and feild ump for the B Grade games, but did notice that when we played Reynella or M/Vale that there was no problems getting umps, even had 2 SFL umps for the B Grade games.

Alright, put it this way, if it was Marion v Aldinga, do you reckon there would have been 3 umps.

guanteed there would be as they are all backing up from the day previous. On a saturday most field umpires umpire two games. given the standard and expected pace of this game in particular, two umpires would have been reluctant. i am not certain about the field umpires backing up from saturday (I suspect so), I know the boundary umpires are definately backing up.

note though, they do not get paid the same if there are three umpires as what they do with two umpires

Actually yes I've since found out that they are going to be using 3 umpires in the Prelims and GF this year and were giving it a bit of a run I just hope for everyones sake that those 3 umpires arent the best in the league!

This is a disgrace if the SFL goes with three umpires in the finals. What a joke. Good umpiring i think is let the play flow and only pay frees if they are there! Watching this game on Sunday, WAY too many free kicks were paid for both sides. Soft fee kicks make the game frustrating! let the play flow. Havng three umpires in my opinion definitley makes this problem worse. Another point - in the SFL most ovals are too small for three umpires - surely!

From that previous post about the Reynella boys not getting along, i heard a similar conversation. Obviously things haven't changed at Reynella, there's always some pathetic in house bitching. You gotta wonder when players like Rusty, Scooter etc come back to the club only to leave the year after. I did have a chat with a few of these players at the and of the season and they weren't real impressed with Reynella. On field... not bad, Off field... real ordinary.

To be honest mate i haven't spent a lot of time within the SFL league this season. I'm more involved with the HFL. So it would be unfair for me to comment, But i have walked through the doors at Reynella recently... not impressed.

Geez Rock – you’re a bit quick to judge. If there is issues and bitching down at the wineflys (like you guys have been saying there is) – why have they been such a successful team? Yes they haven’t won a flag, but they have been beaten the last two years by possibly one of the best teams the SFL has ever seen. If the atmosphere is as bad as you say it is, why are players sticking around? Ok, rusty left but how many clubs has he been too? Obviously, his ego got the better of him, again! As an outsider looking in, the crowd and atmosphere at Reynella on the weekend was excellent. Maybe other clubs can learn from that. Look at their list almost all players have played juniors there! Just reckon there’s people being a bit harsh on the winies. You’d have to look at the facts, successful on the field and from what I saw on Sunday successful off it. Saying you wouldn’t let your kids play down there is a bit too far. Again Reynella have always had successful juniors.
