If you want to see how backwards, out of touch, and downright stupid people can be, have a gander at this page.

Its basically baby boomers blaming young people for the demise of the Port Adelaide area, even though it's been f**ked for decades, thanks to them. And then they cry about how ugly the new buildings are that are going up to invigorate the area.

Also, if you want to see shitty phone pictures of sunsets, with comments like "aw thats beautiful, hun" 50 times under them, this is the page for you.

I used to visit friends in the Port area as a kid and ride my bike to Semaphore and Largs to swim.
I also packed chemicals for the ICI for 10 weeks one long vacation in my Uni days.
Any change has to be an improvement - and I'll say that to my old schoolmate who has been a long-term council member down there...

Someone complained that the Port was noisy on Saturday night due to the Fringe.

The fallout from the under 30's crowd was the best thing I've seen in a long time. A few people were kicked off the page the next day.

But think of the money they've saved! ScoMo would be proud, although he might get a nasty phone call from the actor's union. ;)

On that point, I felt sorry for the graduate staff who appeared in that ad - I'm not sure their job descriptions involve acting or recorded performances, made to do something they're not qualified for.

Couple that with what looks like the most boring government department in Canberra and I reckon that even if they shelled out for Sir Lawrence Oliver, Robert De Niro, Katherine Hepburn and Martin Scorsese they still couldn't find a way to make Finance look half interesting.

Been working on a design with a Perth based consultant, kept asking "What is the project name?". "Private and confidential". "Oooook".

Get some documents today showing the design work for, "The Church of Scientology international"....I don't wanna be a part of it anymore.

Maybe if they got a clever writer to turn it into a simulation of the deer hunter people might enjoy it a bit more?

Should've told them that yes, it is always cold here, it's just because THEY turned up they brought the sunny weather with them!

Good call. Mind you, it'd only really work if that government department regulated gambling. And there was someone troubled called Nicky who worked there.

True, but we're not on the equator. I'm sure if I had asked him what the equator was, he would've told me it's the latest action film starring Vin Diesel.
