thats correct

if the 4 had of won the treble with no units on it then the treble divvie would pay out on the 2nd dog

I cant understand why they dont Jackpot anything and everything....

it will be interesting to see what rules they bring in with the quaddie, whether it will jackpot or not and whether or not they keep the treble going on 3 other races during a meeting.......

Cheers fellas!
I must say ive had a great response from everyone in regards to sponsoring the race at Gawler today.
results were as follows.
1st. ARIZONA DIVA Stephan Tugends
2nd. WITCH STATE C. Swain
3rd. SIR BARKLE G. Brown
4th DAKKIAH C Haagmans
It was a great race with the diva and dakkiah pinging out of the boxes with Diva holding the lead going around the 1st turn with dakkiah hot on her heels. They both stayed in that position until they entered the home straight where dakkiah's fitness gave way with Witch State and Sir Barkle powering home late but it was all over with Arizona Diva going on to win in a time of 31.04.

On a personal note i must admit i was SH**TING bricks when it came time to make a speech!
The reason i decided to sponsor the race was to give something back to the people who have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome since ive been in the industry!
Also im a great lover of all the country tracks especially Gawler, which is why once my dogs are up and racing you will see us visiting all the country tracks here in S.A. With the wife and 4 kids it makes for a great picnic atmosphere for us all.

Interesting to fly over Gawler last week on my way to Darwin and look down on the Races, Trotts and Dog tracks all within a few drop punts of each other, why didnt at least 2 of them use the same facilities? DOnt know the history but seems crazy, having said that I reckon the dog track is great, its a little bit different and provides a great atmoshpere...

Dutchy I have a coroners report on Gawler Trots
There is a propsed freeway/highway going thru Gawler
The way will go through the trot track if it gets the go ahead

Perhaps an almalgamation of Gawler dogs/trots is on the cards ?

HERC once again well done for sponsoring that race.

Freeway is going exactly where you mentioned MAL.
1. Gliding club next door to trotting track is moving to a little north of where the trotting track is currently located.
2. Trotting track will move to where the gliding club is or around that area.
3. The Gawler dog track will be relocated to inside the new trotting track (will apparently be a 1 turn track)
4. I believe the above will be finished around 2010-2012
