Swans were told they were finished in the first 6 rounds when they had plenty out and very young.. Never heard many excuses about players being out.

Probably 6 of their best 10-12 players missing and this is their first really bad game for the year. They will hit back

3. Parker
2. Franklin
1. Jones

Petracca very good too.
Mcveigh was excellent on return. Class act. Kennedy continues to be the most consistent player in the AFL

We were 1 down after 5 minutes. Melbourne got a lot of upside but tonight they tried to be tough and it didn't work.

How long before a "red card" rule comes in? With the AFL being so adamant about protecting the head, I think it won't be long before Bugg would've had to sit out the match as Mills had to. Why should Melbourne get an advantage in that situation? If a player is ruled out with the concussion rule, and it's obviously a "non-football" (thank you Jimmy) act that caused the concussion, I would be OK with that.

Players and clubs admit 6 day breaks are hard to come up from later in the season, so who don't you believe?

That was Sydney's 4th game in 34 days..you reckon they didn't look fresher?

If roles were reversed I guarantee you wouldn't be saying the same thing.

Not sure what Bugg was thinking. Houli just finished yesterday with 4 weeks, so in the first quarter he turns and belts a bloke.

Carlton giving the Crows all the space in the world. Going to get ugly if they keep allowing that

I turned it on for 5 minutes and it was all Carlton. Mind you all they were doing was going sideways or backwards, horrid to watch.

yeah they played keepings off for a while. which did take the momentum away from the crows a bit, so well played to them i guess. they dont really look like scoring too much though

Following it on the radio. Sounds like we're back to the last few weeks type of play other than the first six...

Dogs did well to snatch a flag last year because they aren't playing finals this year

sloane not having a huge game, but not getting tagged either.

carlton have just played keepings off. their skills are terrible but they are denying the crows access to the ball

crows should run away with it eventually but it looked like that at half time in the hawks game too and that didnt happen
