With all due respect to the women, would many be too concerned if they did a knee and missed the season?

The men play International rules so surely that's not the concern. I think the issue is when state of origin would be played and how it affects playing for a premiership rather then injuries. Its obvious Origin means a hell of a lot more to rugby league then it does too AFL. Until we have that sort of passion it just won't happen, the players need to be the driving force not fans

Yeah fair.

The "others" will always be an issue. No Tasmanian wants to be reduced to an "allies" team and both wa and SA would want to play Victoria every year.

So it's a lot harder to work out how to do it compared with league where the other states are too small to worry about.

I think it should be Vic vs The Rest but it doesn't really matter as Origin is dead and buried. I really cant see it coming back

How can you have a hungy on him? Max pay out is 500 so that makes it about a $12 bet max

Yep, found that out very quickly after I posted.
I'm with CrownBet and its a AFL regulation that max pay out is $500 so I'm stuck with that.

For all his critics Dawson had a pretty decent 2009 (albeit in a very good defensive unit). The decision to play him over Max Hudghton in the premiership decider certainly split the supporter base.

Was prone to plenty of 'brain fades' no doubt. Kicked the match winner v Carlton in 2009 in a rare memorable moment.

Lonners instead of Dawson by the end of the year. He's had a couple of good games recently but it's surely Tom's last year.

Sydney are in the GF for mine for sure, obviously GWS and the Cows are favorite to join them but I just can't help but thinking someone might come from left field and do a Bulldogs of last year.

No idea who- Geelong? Richmond? Even Melbourne! You must be able to win in Melbourne.

Tigers for me if its a left field winner, best team the Hawks have played all year.
Don't take to much notice of last week in Geelong, Caddy out of the game early in the first quarter, not to many teams win when down a rotation for the whole game
