Above average room quality, attached is a nice restaurant ( think up market restaurant without the price ), great bistro ( think up market pub ) and quality front bar / punting / gaming / beer garden all in the same complex as the accommodation.

Top spot.
I'll wait for the Bennymacca seal of approval ;)

the only bad thing is about it is you have to go to ballarat :D

-3.5° on the way out yesterday morning, took 20 minutes for the defrost to get the ice off the windscreen and rear window.

I remember the first time I ever had ice covering the wind screen when I was living in Horsham, it was -4c and I had to leave early to drive to Ararat for footy.

Being young and not being sure on how to remove it, I got a bucket of hot water and was about to throw it on the windscreen when the neighbour (who happened to be outside at the time) yelled at the top of his lungs STOOOOOOP!

He'd obviously picked up that I'd filled the bucket with hot water and saved my windscreen from breaking into smithereenies.

Any decent bakeries in the inner western suburbs?
I miss the OHalloran Hill bakery, especially their chicken and asparagus pies.

Kronpuss Cakes on Torrens Rd used to be really good for baked goods and pies. They used to have an ice cream container as their till. Apparently they've put some cash into the place and put a cafe and stuff in.

Havent been in for a couple of years.

Until recently it looked like a serial killers house with a smashed up "bakery" sign on the footpath.

Best pies in Adelaide.

Burger Foundry Torrensville

Gave it a whirl; last week before a School dance show at the Ent Centre

Burgers were pretty good, certainly not in the old OxBurger category but solid enough.

Missus didn't enjoy them that much as they are so juicy it fell apart (don't try and be lady like you got to eat 'em quick)

Think they're better than Norburger and with the Ent book the three burgers and associated chips and drinks came down to under $40.

I'll be back again, solid 6/10
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Really? Never had any issues there plus it's not fine dining. You just need to get in, get out.

Haven't been there myself, but a lot of people I know go to Dulwich Bakery at Grange.
