North must be due and era soon

I rememember it like it was yesterday. The sweetest moment was in the 1905 Grand Final when Port only had one goal in mind and could only manage 1-6 against us, its great beating Port in Grand Finals, its a pity some clubs have never got to savour that feeling.

The good news for North is this is their 4th year in a row in the finals. If they finish in the 5 next year it will be their first "era" for 100 years

Cool, I like good news! Cheers!
The good news for the Dogs is they might have a powerhouse club to face in the Grand Final this year and not some easybeat like they've enjoyed their only premiership success so far, you'll enjoy the feeling beating a club like Port, Glenelg, North or Sturt if you can ever manage it (zero out of three so far), trust me, its special!

Gee that's good to know. Cause the 5 we've won so far have been special. Imagine it being more special :) :) Trouble is the way the Eagles are going they may well be their on GF day. Now that we will finish top we have 2 chances of a GF spot so I am reasonably optimistic - after all this is our era too

Yes, because I don't think they'll make the finals this year, bit hard for them to make the GF if they don't make the finals mate.

And Port will/could???

Yeah, they could, very doubtful I agree but still a chance.

You think so? Port have 2 games laft and are 4 points plus % behind Glenelg who have 3 games left. I think it's officially mothballs for port :D

SturtPeter:

Please keep posting.

I'm sure the players all sit around the office PC at Sturt and read your insperational (sic) messages before running on to do battle every week.

In fact, if you had been this positive last season they would have won the flag last year as well as this year as $trut no doubt will.

I wish you barracked for Glenelg.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

Thanks guys.

I have met some inspirational people from here and footysa.com

Snappy is a totally decent, passionate guy whose love for his beloved Bulldogs is well known.

*Sigh*...

I blame the computer salesman for this one...some people should have to serve wait periods before being allowed to own one. Bit like guns. Some are fatal in the wrong hands. ;-)

SP - we know you love* Sturt - but can't you do so a bit more privately? For everyone's sanity?

Yeah, not sure the criteria is quite right.

"Eras" need to be at least 8 years (ie, basically the length of an average player's career) Maybe finals in a minimum of 7 of those years... and at least 2 flags (anyone can get lucky and jag one).

Spelly, how many does that leave...?

And apart from Woodville and Torrens what about "anti-eras"?
