Perhaps agreed to, as he can't yet.

Soto's Fish & Chips the other?

No, it will be a world wide brand looking to increase their exposure into China.

Seems this China deal could be beneficial, yeah? 8)

Here's the really important link to China that's been overlooked and the reason that the pear have been so keen to partner up.

If the "mail" is right it looks as though Port have secured Motlop, look like they're almost locked in with Watts and are more than hopeful of getting Rockliff. So....

Out goes : *estimated* ( average AFL wage is $302k this year )

White ( 300k )
Krakouer ( 300k )
Monfries ( 300k )
Young ( 300k )
Ah Chee ( 300k )
Trengove ( 500k )

$2m +/-

In comes :

Motlop ( 600k )
Watts ( 600k )
Rockliff ( 650k )

$1.85m +/-

6 out, 3 in and no real $$ better off unless current top enders are going into the back end of front loaded deals....

We'll show you, North Melbourne. :D

He didn't play a game so I think Eddy was upgraded ahead of him. I'll check.

And I forgot to throw in Eddy as an out too.

Rockcliff will be closer to $750k I'd think. Wouldn't be surprised if the Lions match it and try to trade. Can't see them being happy with a pick 19 compo for him

Rockliff a bit higher than 650k. Still think he will go to the highest bidder so either Carlton or North.
Motlop an upgrade on Neade, Young etc but consistency always been an issue.
Not sure why anyone would want Watts!

I think a change of scenery could be good for Motlop, I'd snaffle up Rocky but I'd be leaving Watts alone.

It does make sense though for the power to have Watts.

Why's that, not enough kids in the side? Marshall, Bonner, Howard, SPP, Wines, DBJ, Clurey, Houston.

Motlop 26, Rockliff 27, Watts 26, 5+ years out of all of them.

Only Westhoff, White and Monfries over 30 ( 2 will be gone this summer I suspect ), Ryder, Gray, Krakouer and Boak only ones going 30 next year ( I suspect Krak gone ), Lobbe and Eddy both 29 next year but soon to be culled, the rest of the squad under 28 at the start of '18.

I'd have a nosey at Motlop for the right price but surely we have enough footballers that have exhibited mental weakness in their game? Watts in particularity has shown repeatedly that he doesn't have the fortitude to play AFL - that's OK, either do I, either do 99% of the population.

But if we're going to recruit mature players then lets get real solid citizen stout types to help out our new crop and show them how to win.

Watts plays for Melbourne mate, hardly a breeding ground for stoic footballers.

Their leaders aren't great leaders, they might turn out to be but they aren't right now and he was judged extremely harshly by all and sundry in his early years and in '15 showed some consistency at this level.

He's no Marshall, and Marshall is no Watts, but Marshall has played 3 games and who knows what lies ahead for him. Plus I think Eddy will be delisted so we'll need another tall(ish) forward option.
