I’ve backed Vengeur Masque @ 30/1 today hoping it wins & gets in to the Melbourne Cup where I’ve got it going @ 750/1...

Turf, soft rating.
Cheers mate.
Narrowed it down to:
Shorter priced runners = 3, 4, 11
Value runners = 1,2,6,12
Might just work some exotics around those numbers. Took a box 6 Tri in the Cup on Saturday and didn't have a runner in the first 3, so that should frank my (lack of) form

I glossed over this. Not sure why. Definitely read it but didn't even think when I rushed off to the pub to back some squib of a thing.
Nice get! Geez it was a good run. Can't say it did it with ease but it was a tough win.

You should have got some tips from Facebook, one in 3 backed the winner & one in 10 the trifecta, pity it was the day after the race & none of them were able to screen-print their ticket.

Trainer Mike Moroney said he wouldn’t hesitate starting him in the Lexus if he was still a long way down the order of entry for the Melbourne Cup.
Before yesterday’s Geelong Cup he was 45th in the order with several horses above him unlikely. Moroney is hoping for a penalty & more drop outs.
“Just hope for a little bit more weight and attrition as well,” he said.

Well he doesnt say stupid things like "Oooh, Winx delicious"OnSong wrote:Just a general comment on the FTA coverage of the major meets on Seven. I honestly find Bruce McAvaney much more bearable, pleasant even, hosting the races than commentating the footy. Weird. Seems to be much more relaxed at the gallops.
