I'm going to repost this and hope it jinxes the Poms, because they look pretty likely right now.

That worked! Cummins strikes.
Now it's time for Smith to get his head out of his arse and start leading his team again.
Pull Handscomb into line and tell him to shut up while he's at it.

Hope the Aussies in the crowd are giving the barmy army the review signal after that last pasty Pom was bowled. Review that you dickheads.

In the last decade, England have been set 350+ to win 15 times. Not only have they never won, they've never got within 100 of the target.

Steve Smith dropped Malan in the last session
Ive prob seen Smith drop half a dozen catches over the years
Most of those catches in the night sessions at Adelaide Oval

I'd be surprised if they get within 100 again and utterly shocked if they get within 50 and if they get the runs, well...............
Lets just say $1.30 or whatever Aust are atm is STEALING MONEY. Should be about $1.12

plenty of batting to come, Ali and Bairstow have test hundreds, Woakes a 90 odd and Overton a number of 1st class tons, just need Root to get 130 odd and them to help out, reckon if the follow on had been enforced we would be talking about a huge Aussie win from earlier today

And Broad has a Top Test score of 169 with the bat

Aust would have to bowl crap to lose from here.

If they do lose there will need to be some serious questions asked

Been a fascinating Test match from the moment the coin was tossed, we'll find out the answers to these questions and others around 6pm today :

- Did Joe Root make the wrong call sending Australia in to bat first?
- Did Steve Smith declare too early when 8 down and 440 on the board?
- Did Steve Smith make the wrong call not enforcing the follow on?
- Is Peter Handscomb a player of Test match quality at the moment? He's horribly out of form.
- Has Kevin Pietersen become the worst Channel 9 commentator. Ever. Period. Second to none?
- Is Pat Cummins the answer to Australia's desire to have an all-rounder batting at number 7?
- Is Ali the danger for Australia, someone who can come to the crease and knock 30 or 40 off the chase quickly?
- Will Broad have an opportunity to become a super villain and hit the winning run for England?

I grew a little concerned with Smith's body language / antics last night. His demeanour when riding the results of the DRS reviews were one of a young man who didn't seem to realise the eyes of the nation, cricketing world, were on him. He was quite animated and looked to be on edge despite Australia still being on top and favorites to win the match. ( Australia $1.28 England $3.75 with Sportsbet ).

Also thought Handscomb, for a bloke who has made 14, 36 and 12 in the most scratchy of manners this series, was over the top in his verbal barbs at Root last night. He looked like a bloke who had forgotten about the task in front of his team and was more worried about his exchanges with the Pommy skipper.

Can't wait for the first hour of play this afternoon.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

- Is Peter Handscomb a player of Test match quality at the moment? He's horribly out of form. His mouth is working overtime though
- Has Kevin Pietersen become the worst Channel 9 commentator. Ever. Period. Second to none? Is horrid to listen to sounds like he is talking to kindy kids
- Is Pat Cummins the answer to Australia's desire to have an all-rounder batting at number 7? No not yet
- Is Ali the danger for Australia, someone who can come to the crease and knock 30 or 40 off the chase quickly? Plenty of batting to come no need
- Will Broad have an opportunity to become a super villain and hit the winning run for England? No they will only lose 2 more wickets
