norwood are ready to pounce, I think the bays will know after this game if they will play finals this season.
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

In summary - I'm not worried or depressed to be honest - mediocrity is accepted too often in some circles at Prospect so you get used to it - now what's that old chestnut - you reap what......

MAte, 10 days ago you knocked off the best team in the comp, from what i've read on this site you've outplayed teh reigning premiers for 3/4 of the match....Glenelg, if we are going to win, are going to haveto play bloody good footy against a damn good team in north Adelaide.

If I was a North supporter I wouldn't be throwing the baby out with the bath water....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Are you for real??? :?

North have beaten Central and just dipped out to last years Premiers... I'd say it's supporters talking crap like that which leads to a negative feeling around the club.

You'll beat the Bays by 4 goals.

No guarantees CC. Let's see what supporters of other clubs say about North being underachievers, pretenders blah blah if we lose this week. We are one week from seeing our season really slip. You have temper optimism with reality and don't forget it is many of you who tell us that North are inconsistent and choke in the games that matter and recent history supports that. If we do lose and miss the double chance I bet you agree with my thoughts then?

It depends on which team North put out. The one that wants it or the one that doesn't. IMO, it will be the one that wants it, but even that will depend on how settled the team is.

Persoanlly I would like to see Wundke and Kaesler back in, and with Howard coming back, it will be interesting to see where Ladhams plays this week. With a good playing surface forecasted, I would prefer to see both Ryswyck and Bamford out on the flanks, with maybe Lonie who, by all accounts, had a pretty decent game, at CHF and Lads up front. My only concern with this is the lack of talls up front which means, if available, Perrie would probalbly get a call

I hope North can get their fast running game going early and with Howard and Allan in the side, we have abit more steel around the rucks.

July 2 1977, was at that match Wedgie as a 14yo. Late in the game R. Diorio was given a free 25m out straight in front. A goal resulted cutting the Bay lead to around 25 goals or so. I, being a proud Rooster fan, dutifully acknowledged the goal with voice and applause only to be belted on the head from behind with an umbrella by a feral bay "lady" informing me & I quote "Bloody cheatin' umpires, you should never have got that free kick. Bloody cheatin' umpires". Um take a look @ the scoreboard "Lady" I don't think your going to lose this one I replied. Have I mentioned how much I really hate the Bays here. I know I have on the ROOST!

My "lady" experienced happened in front of teh bowling club at Alberton, I use the term "lady" loosely.....

Here's hoping we can add another chapter to your hatred this week....a dodgy free kick (Duldig "falls" forward in the goalsquare as a result of a "push in the back") late into time on in the 4th qtr with the Bays 5 pts behind. After the siren the goal upire shows "how big it is...."

Punky last seen heading down Anzac hwy in a petrol tanker with a box of matches in his top pocket.....

JTC

the same can be said for us, it all depends on what team rocks up depends on the result.

if we rock up with the same intensity we did against North on the public holiday and similar to the port game then we will absolutey smash North to smitherines..................

but on the other hand if the team that rocked up for 4 weeks that played against south and west then we will get blown out of the water and could possibly miss out on the finals after a morale crushing loss.

im thinking that we will win by around 5 goals in hopefully another shootout
