SAAFL Goal Kicking Record

Postby fuzz » Sun Jul 29, 2007 1:25 am

Congratulations to Craig Maunel From St Pauls Old Scholars for breaking the SAAFL Goalkicking record. He kicked 33 Goals against Kaurna Eagles Today. I know they are not the most glamorous opposition but 33 goals none the less, is a fantastic effort.

I see the guy who held it for a month only kicked two goals on the weekend, only prob his team only kicked two goals to lose by heaps. Yet they beat Karuna by 40 goals themselves. Karuna should take on southern hawks

How do you kick 33 Goals? seriously, opposition aside, surely his coach should have sent him to full back at half time!!

i know a bloke who kicked 18 in a match and he reckons evry time it went forward he kept getting it, but 33, did he have an opponent at all? what was the rest of the Forward line doing, spectating, wouldn't you double team the bloke after say 10 goals?

that's incredible, good on him
Sorry people I only deal in facts!

the bloke had 12 at half time and game was over
instruction was he only one to kick goal after half time so we could keep some interest in it
they had 5 on him at one stage but they couldnt read the footy
fair effort but makes it a bit of a mockery for a record
Some like to say Arrogant, I like to say confident.
