At half time I would have taken a goal or two win. I didnt go to the rooms at half time as I thought better to stay away!
Credit to Westies for the pressure in that second quarter.
Yes I expected a much better commitment and effort after the break and the boys did not let me down!
Kenny McG 13 marks! 14 goal win better than i thought - iwas expecting 6 goal win hoping for 10 - so i'm NO judge!!!!

Injuries OK - Symmo should be fine - Ben Schwarze being monitored tonight - precautionary - probably a test for next week.

Players from both teams will be a bit sore as the ground was very hard today - very dry and rock hard in places.

I thought 12 goals was the minimum we should have won by and hoping for 100+ with the % required to make up on Sturt. I thought Schwarze was just winded, but obviously more serious. He was holding his lower stomach after a clash with Pedler when both going for the mark at CHB. Wasn't that how Schwarze injured himself in the ressies earlier in the year - clashing with his own team mate!

And that's how West got their only goal for the last half, Gray I think mopping up and handballing it to Bradyn Fisher who goalled.

Also a job well done to the guys on the scoreboard today who kept updating the scores from Alberton and Prospect - they did a great job throughout the day giving 2 or 3 updates each quarter - much appreciated.

I agree Cd. The scoreboard attendants did a great job keeping the punters at Richmond updated. Glad to see the Eags up into 3rd. I think the power have found a gun in Robbie Gray. I have admired his form for the power, but he was a shining light for westies today. Bernie Vince also played a cracking game for the Eags, and providing he is home on time tonight, should push for Crows selection next week!!!!

The Prospect game was good, but the Alberton one, they were giving totally different scores! But still, at least more than just the quarter scores were given, which was handy. :)

Does anyone know if Schwarze and Symonds were badly injured ?

And I must admit i had fun giving it to cupido and willets surprised they didnt jump the fence.

Don't know about injuries, cd will know about that. And where were you when that happened? I was right in front of that, but did not see what happened there (was looking elsewhere), Inkster was on the ground, but I knew that Willits did something there to give away a 25 metre that should not have happened.

Cupido voiced his disgust, I know that much.

I was on centre wing and from where I was standing Inkster was running upto/past Willits to give him a bit of a inya face heckle type bump and Willits just turned his back/arse on him and let him run into him. Silly thing to do, prob wasnt a 25 but Inkster did the right thing and milked it a little and made sure of it.

Nothing in it really, certainly not malicious etc.

To answer you bayman these games are always danger games as was proven in round 5 at broadspectrum this season. I knew if the Eagles played up to near their best it was going to get ugly for west but you just don't know what will happen. I'm happy with the 82 point win and the Tigs did the right thing for us meaning we are now in the top 3. All is good should be an interesting game come round 23.

Schwarze was at the other end of the ground from me spellcheck.
The inkster thing was right in front of me .Willits was told or it appeared by another west player to leave the mark and man up on inkster.Instead he hip and shoulder inkster (or something similar) in the back .Inkster laid out 25 metre penalty paid.goal result.
Actullay we were giving it to willits and cupido all day there were plenty of eating too many pies comments in the crowd.
And when I went off about williams teaching willits dirty tricks .A poor west fan said they properly taught him that
Hell i didnt see LEH today but i heard him twice once for a rugolo goal in the two's and once for a comment about neil craig's hurting our home grown afl players goal kicking.

Lets narrow it down further, sitting on the old Football Park benches, or standing?

My lad and I were sitting on the old football park seats (still aching from them) on the 50 metre line .the time clock was almost behind me .

Very true Bosvit .But the west player behind kenny mac pointed to Willits to go with inkster.
But it made making fun of Willits even easier .

That's pretty much where I was in the first, but about 30 out in the pocket in the last.
