I am a bit biased but I picked Adelaide, we definitely have the squad to challenge for both honours this season with our defence the only concern. Our midfield and strikeforce does look strong with a bit of depth to play with if need be.
I am looking forward to V3, it should be a belter of a season and expect United to score plenty of goals this time around.
Also I'm a bit gutted I will miss the opener as it clashes with the Crows' match, great planning A-League.

Smithy, that anchor gag is possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen.  Love your work!

Newcastle will really struggle with those outs. I really liked watching them last season. Very entertaining because of the 4 players they have lost. Carle's goal against United was brilliant.

the biggest factor for Adelaide i think will be how they manage the Olyroos, we dont want to build the game plan around them and then get the back on match day to find out they are to stuffed after playing in 45'

Intresting to see Ross Aloisi tipped Adelaide to win the league this season also.
I think deffiniatley another top 2 finish though.

off to the Airport in a minute to head to Brisbane to hopefully watch them open the season with a win. :)

I enjoyed seeing the news reports last night with the Bling going down.

Would've been a cracking game with all those shots hat went so close.

Also good to see Burns scored his goal from outside the box.

An area we were I felt we deficient in last season. Am I correct in this assertion?

You are correct...too many times last season Adelaide looked for the next option, when there wasn't
one and wamo, defence manned up, and rebounded. Good if they score from outside, especially if nothing
is on...better to have a crack then cough it up by over using the ball...

Daniel also missed a penalty in the first half, hit the crossbar! Good crowd of about 14,400.

The Perth - Newcastle game has been ordinary so far.
