Close, but no cigar, only teams that haven't lost to the Cats can.

Selwood and Kingy having a rest this week, would expect a heap more.
If Port and Brisbane don't beat them in the next 2 weeks then Port or Brisbane needn't rock up to the finals as they'll be a complete waste of space.

Say this weeks match is a cracker and the Powwaa goes down by a point on the last kick of the day. Should they still then not bother rocking up for the finals?

Anything can happen come finals time, regardless of what happened during the season.

Selwood, Bartel and Ling all out, we've started resting players and giving fringe players a go.

Could disrupt though.

Also fantastic to see the Power did their usual trick in taking Damon White out of North's side yesterday so he could be a spectator at Geelong today.

Nah, just a corky above the knee.

Tell ya what though, with Bartel, Ling and Selwood out and Ablett off the ground, Port should kept attacking in that quarter when they were dominating instead of going backwards.
If Port lose this game they'll only have themselves to blame.

Top game until half time.Barring a huge second half to the Cats,Im happy with our showing so far.

The 'outs' for Geelong are huge,no doubt and the return of those 3 to the side adds plety, but you can only beat your opponent on the day,and at half time I think we have showed wth enough supply our forwards can kick a winning score.

Mooney appears stuck to the goal square, playing into Wakelins hands.I imagine Mooney will push up the ground more in the second half.

S.Burgoyne's two tap receive for goals inside 50 a pleasure to watch.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
