I hate to ask it, but ...

Postby LPH » Mon Aug 27, 2007 1:50 pm

With the results of the past 2 weeks, after beating the Dogs & claiming that "means nothing, will be judged in September..etc", it is looking more & more likely that North won't make the GF.

That being the case...

Is this the end for A. Jarman ???

North supporters have you been happy with the clubs 'achievement' under him???

This post is NOT a trolling exercise, am seriously questioning his ability to coach.
Let's not forget that he 'threw his hat in the ring' for an AFL job earlier in the year.

From reading through the posts on The Roost, the North fans aren't panicking, are satisfied with where they're currently at and are backing Jarman and the club all the way.

Well we all know Wedgie is not happy with the clubs achievements this year.

They definately have the cattle to push for a premiership.
Is it the lack of defensive action in the gameplan? Seems as though every time North loses, the oppositions scores close to 20 goals, or are able to pile on goals without reply.

That was either very poor on your part Aerie, or looking at your next post a very clever set up for a joke.

Heartbeats true I have been posting about Norths defence for sometime. Was shot down by Wedgie(not trolling  )and he said North had the second best defence in the league. Then norths defence shot down by Glenelg.
IMHO North play a very AFL style footy ,very flashy running game .Get the ball into a strong forward line that kicks a large amount of goals. This should and does win you a large percentage of games before round 10 then the good teams work Norths style out (well the exception being Centrals ).And then either shut them down in 1 quarter like the EAGLES did ,or go into a goal kicking frenzy like Glenelg appeared to do(wasn't there just what I think happened after reading the scoreboard) .
Jarman has probably come to the attention of the AFL teams looking at Coaches .He coaches or has an AFL gameplan ,if he could be defensive as well he'd be doing an AFL assistant before now .
That is all IMHO and I could be way off the mark .But Rehn took West Adelaide to a grandfinal and was snapped up by Brisbane .Jarman has not got his side upto the grandfinal YET just watch who comes a knocking if he ever does.

we all need to reamember were north were before jarman took over. i think he,s done a fantastic job getting them to were they are. north are right up there, theres just somthing missing from the side for them to take the next step, and it certainly is not the coach, if it wasnt for jarman north would not be were they are today, im sure of that
