Join at the merchandise tent on saturday or at the club next week. Closing in on 2100 members for the first time ever!!!

CD - a bit of nit-picking here, but if someone signs-up for 2008 this week, surely you can't include them in the 2007 figure just because you've given them membership for the remainder of this season... unless you don't include them in the 2008 numbers.

Isn't this type of tinkering the reason Pauline Hanson wound up in jail?

They have been doing this for a number of years Fatal, are you saying no other clubs are doing the same as well ?
Or haven't you heard them advertising this when you have been at games .

Not sure what you're driving at here... All I hear at Eagles games is "Little Peter Rabbit" and all I see is ginger, ginger everywhere...

It's a great idea, don't get me wrong - I'm just not sure if people who sign-up in August 2007 for the following season should actually be included in the 2007 numbers... It's double-dipping isn't it?

I will ask an auditor...

Well the EAGLES have been doing this for a few years now .Can't see a problem myself.
Not like Port asking for 2 dollars from everyone to keep them a float now that was a joke.
And on Ginger kids I saw so many with Eagles tops on on Saturday it was scary

IMPOSSIBLE to give 110% - by definition 100% is the MAXIMUM

Reckon your blokes were ordinary, myself.

At start of the year I honestly thought they would be one of the BIG improvers.
Not sure Ginever is up to it, hasn't inspired me when I've walked out there & listened to him

Fatal - take your point but ..........
We believe in giving some value when we can, so we are giving if you like, a free membership with every membership purchased from now on - just a special offer to reward/encourage Eagle fans to take out membership - and all those who have already joined have enjoyed the benefits so far - with a season of discounts etc. so works out in the end.

If you wish to be attend the HOME MATCH LUNCH with the Woodville stars from 1972 when the striped jumper was worn make your bookings now - we had a great time at Thebby with some of the Torrens guys earlier in the year and Saturday will be no exception with the Woodville boys.

What has been good to see is the older Torrens and Woodville blokes getting together to share stories - amazing how many hit each other and how many played for each club.!!!

Special mention to New Hall of Famer - Kevin McSporran - Eagles Champion - WTFC, WFC and Pt Augusta champion too.

As regards the game on Saturday against South selection will be interesting and good news that injuries not as bad as was feared on Saturday at Richmond.

Injuries from the weekend’s game:
Dale Symmons – corked thigh – available
Ben Schwarze – bruised kidney – available
Denis Redden – corked thigh – test
Players still on the injury list:

Nick Salter – hamstring – available
Adam Grocke – hamstring – available
Zack Hier – groin – test

Not to mention the donuts...

Like I said, great incentive to guarantee you continually increase your numbers, which obviously helps the league in general. Keep up the good work, but I still reckon counting those who join now for 2008 in the 2007 figures as well is like counting the people who turn up after 3/4 in the attendance for the following week's match...

From the 15 games I've seen this year the two games I saw where I thought we were ordinary were the thumping that NAFC gave us at Alberton and the 2 point win you got the second time we met. I didn't see the loss at Noarlunga or the Rd 4 loss to GFC in the wet.

I thought we were pretty good at Woodville early in the year

You were very good at Woody EARLIER in the year FATAL but come on you guys were woeful (just like the eagles earlier at woody) at Alberton.Just so you remember the EAGLES had not kicked your 1/4 time score at 3/4 time .Before winning the game.
Funny last year PAM were good in the early rounds and then went off the boil.
So fatal join up with WWT and you ll see a team in the finals
I am sure EDDIE would love to sit with you at the games.

WOODVILLE HERITAGE GUENSEYS
The players will be wearing a replica of the 1972 Woodville Guernsey this saturday against South Adelaide at Woodville Oval, these guernseys will be auctioned off on eBay after the game. Go to http://www.ebay.com.au and search under Woodville. Happy bidding!!

PHOTO ON WWTFC WEBSITE - I dont know how to get a photo on here - a computer guru may be able to post for me.

I have often wondered about the same thing Fatal has raised here, I remember the Eagles doing this last year as well. Great idea, and I am all for clubs trying new ideas to draw in fans, and new members, but... is the membership actually counted twice?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
