Nice of the cloud to clear up for us tonight as it was 99% cloud at 5pm but now totally clear.
Watched the shadow creep across before and had a look now and its red, looks great.

Down town Lockleys looks quite funky ! Just spent 5 minutes trying to explain to my 5yr old what a eclipse was !

Had an eclipse here earlier in the year...very impressive. Great webcam images thanks for the link Thiele :D Lovely shots of the moon bunny :lol:

Yep ! My two year old wasn't really bothered and my nine month old was asleep ! The missus reckons she knows what one is :roll: !

Curiously it was easy enough to view with the naked eye, but hard to see with binoculars... just too dim.

not sure if anybody would have seen the moon about a week ago at 3am it was hovering low over the ocean and it was bright red then as well, much brighter then what it was last night
