Postby scott » Sat Sep 01, 2007 11:42 pm

North Ballarat fought back from a nine-goal deficit in the first elimination final, booting 11 last-quarter majors to none to win by 37 points:

North Ballarat 1.5 4.8 10.17 21.22 (148)
Bendigo Bombers 7.3 13.8 16.14 16.15 (111)

And high-scoring thrillers for the win in the first qualifying final:

Williamstown 2.2 4.8 14.9 17.11 (113)
Sandringham 3.5 6.7 9.8 16.15 (111)

The first of those matches was an ABC telecasted game so you should be able to catch it on ABC2 next Wednesday for those interested.

Sandringham has won the premiership the past three or something years haven't they?

They're now fighting to stay alive. Play North Ballarat in a knock-out semi next week.
