Not interesting at all, the ball was in play and continued to be in play for a short time, as soon as the stoppage was made they remonstrated.

First time in a long time I've seen a serious brawl in the outer at the footy in years, don't know what happened but the security was pathetic and something that needs to be looked at. It stopped and started about 3 times before any securlty came. Not good enough. And to those involved, get a life!

Haha, another excellent display of doing ****all when it's needed the most. Still great at shooing kids off the oval though, and stamping their authority in less hostile situations.

Was right next to this scuffle and went scattering for safer ground (I mean next to it, less than 2m). Welso are a disgrace. The nearest one was watching the footy FFS you are not paid to watch football you are paid to watch yobbo's starting trouble you dimwits

its time one is stationed outside each beer dispensing structure to keep an eye on this sort of shite. Who gives a flying fork about the goal umpires safety to walk to the middle of the ground

The alleged bays fan open his yap once too much and got clocked and some mighty good ones too. needless to say he didn't say anything for the rest of the day. the others were thrown out and the poor old canteen ladies were taken for heart checkups as they nearly ended up in there.

Heater, if you're talking about the guy with the yellow shirt, might have been aboriginal, standing about 5m from the fence, he wasn't security. Just there with his wife enjoying the footy. I wondered why he wasn't doing anything also but definately wasn't Weslo, just a bad choice of shirt, no offence to him!
One near each beer stall is a practical idea but you have to realise that alot of people are paid alot of $ not to be practical, you don't have to be smart to be important!!

the nearest Welso bloke was near the goal umpire waiting to protect him when the half time blower went I can't recall seeing the bloke you are referring to. When Weslo finally did arrive it flared again and the bloke who started it all was made out to be the good guy in all of this. IMO he deserved to get it but maybe not that early in the day.

Did someone mention a brawl i wonder if Kermit Kornes and Klown Kunnyham mention it on monday night ????

Maybe there is common denominator here yeah as KERMIT would say, yes thats right lets blame the Doggy supporters for this one as well.

I might have to listen for once and see who the Klowns blame this time.

I think everytime there has been a brawl at the footy of late, the first people to mention Central supporters are the Central supporters themselves.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Massive day at the footy!!

Didnt see any brawl, too busy watching glenelg put on a clinic, observing the ladies on the balcony, and enjoying the day with sturt and glenelg supporters alike. hats off to Chambers.

R.Kirkby - shades of a young S.Kernahan

Mouse's bump was fair and hard. The sturt bloke just didnt see him coming.

Glenelg to good on the day and once again the scoreboard wasnt a true reflection of the game - the most important thing is we didnt roll over.

Our depth is really being tested and we really just need to dig real deep to secure that double chance - our finals start this week for sure.

Congrats to Chambo was fanatastic to see you kick your 100th on the day.
It is what it is !!!

I think its pretty pathetic tho , no one rings up Kermit and Kuunnyham and has a go about all of these other incidents during the year, it seems certain fans and commentators are very selective in airing and outing problem supporters from clubs.

I was abused by an inappropriate Member of the Sturt Cheer Squad after covering the game for 5AA during the First Half.

Should have stayed in the Cricket Club ALL DAY because Glenelg people are the most hospitable in the SANFL.

A privilege for me to meet the great "Super" Carey in the last Quarter and as usual the Glenelg President, Gazza was a thorough gentleman.

Well done, Bays
