Hahndorf's major weakness last year was batting. Shaun and Jarrad both hit a significant amount last year. It does make recruiting easier thats for sure. There are a few others who have agreed to play at Pine Avenue next season.

Have heard Braydon Grand (not sure if name is 100% correct) from Finnis. As well as Finley Walsh and possible Tim Woodman of Echunga. Also heard there was a few others in the mix.

I know Wistow want to have a bit of a shakeup of the A grade. It would be good for the comp if more teams were trying to have an a grade team. Hahndorf went up, took some stick for a year and have able to attract players to come. Difficult to force clubs to go up if they dont want to though.

Did Nathaniel Brookes play at Wistow last year? How did he go? I believe he's moving on

Clubs will no longer need to pay for umpires throughout any of the finals from this season onwards, with the Association to be responsible for the costs of all major round matches - previously it was only Grand Finals.
Only one club raised any motions for any constitutional or by-law alterations.
Wistow Cricket Club's endeavour to have all cricket banned on days where the CFS declares a Catastrophic Fire Day in the Mount Lofty Ranges was unanimously voted in favour 14-0 by the clubs.
Wistow's motion to revert the current A Grade special heat-policy - in place for the past two seasons - back into line with the policy adopted for every other grade resulted in a 7-7 vote and without a majority, was unsuccessful.
Wistow's final motion to abolish the A2 Grade and set a cap of eight teams in each grade was unsuccessful, with no seconder to the motion and therefore no voting process required.
The Fleurieu District Cricket Council has advised that the Fuller, Figg and Calaby Shields will now be held on February 3, 10 and 24, 2019, instead of the usual time of November.
The Fuller Shield has been adjusted to an U13 competition from the previously U14 set-up, while the Calaby Shield has changed from U16 to U15. The Figg Shield remains U21.
The Meyer Shield will be held at Torrens Valley over the Australia Day long weekend in 2019 as we look to secure our first win since 2013/14.
Mt Barker and Bremer/Callington announced their return to A Grade cricket for the first time since 2011/12.
The 2018/19 A Grade season will commence on Saturday 6 October, with further information about the program and other grades available soon.
