Dogs just way too good. Stuffed around for a while as well and still had the game on toast very early. Norwood looked pretty ordinary, but nice warm up for the finals. Would want to be cleaner ideally, but I'd be rather surprised if we weren't victorious reasonably comfortably in a few weeks time hopefully with both Griffin and Westhoff no longer required for AFL duties and in our second semi team.

Agreed, less than 1k Norwood fans IMO.

But to be perfectly honest, why should fans turn out when the players don’t want to be out there? I was there as I wouldn’t miss a game, but you can certainly see why there were few Norwood fans.

dont want to say i predicted you frontrunners wouldnt rock up. But that crowd was unacceptable.

Some serious questions need to be asked of the Norwood FC. Is Trev Hill the right man to take the club forward. Because judging by the people sitting in the terraces yesterday alot have giving up. Alot of very frustrated footballers playing at the NFC atm.

The Obst goal in the first quarter summed it up for me. Alan Obst takes a mark 25 metres out. The guy on the mark runs off to mark a leading Switala in the foward pocket. This leaves Obst unchecked who strolled in to kick the goal from about 15 metres out. All I can say to the norwood faithful was you were lucky dogs never got out of second gear yesterday. cos you guys were pathetic.

On the flip side, if we as supporters (and this goes for any club) truly want our teams to do their best week after week then , IMO, we should be prepared to do the same. Neither poor crowds nor poor onfield displays reflect well on a club. I feel it's up to all of us to keep our clubs (and our league) on track.

JMO .. Welcome to our world ... Yes some very serious questions do indeed need to be asked, but given the same questions have been asked for the past 2 seasons and none of the answers have translated into any more than hollow verbal from NFC officialdom whats the answer??

Couldn't get there myself on Saturday and obviously not too upset that I didn't ... From fellow Leg's supporters I believe the turnout on our behalf was perhaps the worst we've ever experienced.

Someone who has been in a position for 20 years moves on, they replace the position and expect the newcomer to do exactly the same as the last person did. Only troublemakers do otherwise.

No, there was a change in the constitution which altered my level of involvement, but I still help out where I can ... That said, I would have been on my last year at that level for exactly the reason you mentioned.

Bit hard to explain everything over this, but will try to catch you for a beer before the year is out and can then perhaps put some things in better perspective.

What I find sad, and no offence to JMO, but a post like this derides Norwood fans and their club, and none of the Norwood posters defend their club because they feel its true.

In fact, even sadder, not only do they not ignore the post, they feel compelled to agree with most of it. Tragic for the Redlegs that the situation has got to this point.

At least in the years when I was younger and Centrals were inconsistent rabble, I felt there was hope for the future. I truly hope I never, in the long term, see my club in this position.
