so STURT deserve the double chance just because they have improved from last year......

well glenelg improved from last year too!!!!!!!!

just keep praying you dont lose friday night, because then you will be out of the finals the week after and the season after so much promise and hope will have delivered so little

that sounds like a typical glenelg story. Bridesmaids from the bay. You make collingwood look successful
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

You do realise Collingwood have won more premierships than Sturt don't you?

Of course the Bays with their 4 premierships is going to make Collingwood with their 14 premierships look successful!

absolutely WEddie, the woods (more flags than north too) are bigger than the game itself much like our "pride of the bay"

You're only as good as your last game though, North's last game against Collingwood resulted in a good North win at Waverley. There's even the last few minutes of that game on Youtube. :D

I'm STILL here but...

After some more than justified treatment from certain adminstrators that barrack for North, I have been keeping a lower than normal profile.

I think it has been stated ad norsium (is that how it's spelt Toodl... oops, sorry  )the 'Sturt Appreciation Society' on this site.

We shall see in the next 2 weeks, starting tonight.

As for the question of "Deserving it ??" You get what you EARN, me thinks.

Yep, Sturt > Collingwood too

Beat em in 66, the year they lost the VFL GF by only a point.

"A week later Sturt took on VFL runners up Collingwood in a challenge match. A crowd of 30,794 at the Adelaide Oval were treated to another vintage display as the Double Blues won with ease, 18.12 (120) to 11.18 (84). Collingwood president Tom Sherrin was generous in defeat, conceding "I was amazed with their skill - it was a real shock. They would be strong contenders for a VFL premiership." http://www.fullpointsfooty.net/Sturt_part_1.htm

Didn't Westies beat the VFL side Tassie Mariners this year????
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

If a club donates money to charity does that make them 'deserving' of a double chance? How ridiculous

If Sturt miss the double-chance its because of 4 losses in 5 weeks to the other 4 teams in the final 5 - if that happens then Elim final is the right spot for them surely.
In between signatures .....
