Yasir shah out to one of the softest dismissals. Southee banged one in short and Shah just bunted it to mid off

Pakistan are throwing this match for sure. Babar the top order batsman 50 not out, comes down the wicket trying to hit over the offside, with mid off slightly back for that type of shot. Disgusting batting.

Is there a more unassuming superstar then kane williamson? Blokes a star but just goes about his business without any fuss, seems like a terrific bloke.

He's an absolute dead set gun, has to be the best player NZ has ever produced. 19 test centuries now, forth in their most runs at the moment. He is the master accumulator.

For years growing up Pakistan were my 2nd favourite cricket nation, it's been sad watching their demise in integrity, I remember growing up to the likes of Imran Khan, Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Abdul Qadir and then Saeed Anwar, Inzamam, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, I wonder how they all feel about it all?

Probably rather end the war(s) they're in than win Test matches.

Recovered well to be 3/73 at lunch. I'm glad we aren't playing NZ at the moment.

NZ have an interesting record at the Basin Reserve since being 1st used to host a Test match in 1930
They didn't win their 1st Test there until 1969 against the W Indies. (10 Tests played in that time for 7 losses and 3 Draws)
They then went undefeated there for the next 25 years having 6 wins and 12 Draws.
Since 1994 results have been shared evenly with 13 wins 13 losses and 8 Draws.
