Some negative posts on here from earlier today lads, good to get a win first up. 288 was enough, was always going going to be hard for India to come back after being 3/4! Behrendorff very good and Richardson outstanding but it was Dhoni with 51 from 96 who put us into a winning position, they needed 148 from 107 when he got out then 113 from 65 when Karthik (12 from 21) got out so there was no way Sharma was going to win for India from there.

Because he doesn't worry about the scoreboard, he bats time knowing he'll make runs.

If he makes 50 every time who cares.
Someone bats around him and scores a run a ball 100 they win.....usually.
He's a smart cricketer and summed up the game brilliantly.
His odi strike rate is just under 90 but last nights wicket was tough to bat on.

I still think he cost India victory last night, batted too slow, he was 6 off 36/37(?) at one stage and once he was he dismissed he left the guys behind him with too much to do with not enough time left to make up the difference between runs and balls left.

LOL, I didn't even know there was a game on today until this morning.

With the weather, the TDU, most people back to work, I reckon 9,000 is around the mark.
